bro, if u want get, get 2.0 one...

i drove 1.3 saga previously, after i change to 1.6 forte one month ago, i seriously feel it underpower... especially when cutting lane...and the fc is not really good...
*
ur saga is manual one? or new flx? hmm.gif
mine auto blm last time, forte much better i can say in power and fc.

if fully loaded want fast and furious then yes underpower, have to use manual mode to down shift.

QUOTE(skty @ Sep 23 2013, 03:02 AM)
hi bro, thanks for your feedback also.

"11.5 to 12km/l is already a very reasonable FC for a 2 litre car."

what about the FC for 1.6sx? I would like to compare 1.6 and 2 litre engine FC.

I heard 1.6 is too underpowered for this heavy car.
*
-kl fully city drive, always jam, traffic lights, move slowly, expect somewhere around 10-15l/100km
-plus if always wait your gf/wife in car expect >15l/100km
-kl-puchong-pj-shah alam, these kind on city+highway, around 9-10l/100km
-my kampung, city no jam one, smooth traffic, less traffic light around 8l/100km
-highway 80-100km/h apek mode, 6l-7l/100km
-highway drive like hantu 140-170km/h, <8l/100km

my saga was manual 1.3 lmst... i know the body weight is very light, tat's y it feel powerful...and fc confirm less than forte.

but forte 1.6sx a little bit too heavy for me... when i cut lane to fast lane, it take long time for it to reach high speed...or maybe i still didnt get the automatic trans method rite...
*
ic bro, auto memang response slow a bit if compared, if u have tried blm u will cry lol
saga is b segment car while forte is c segment car, body longer, wider and heavier.

in expense of higher fc, u get more comfort, stability, space, nvh.
forte fc is actually okay if u compared with other c segment car.

if u really concern about pickup and fc so much, i suggest u downgrade to 15 inch rim.
17 is actually too much for 1.6 forte. while for me, 16 is just nice.

haha, ya...dun get me wrong, despite all these issues, i still enjoying my car every single day, except the day i need to pay the installment... LOL... just if i could get 2.0cc last time, then it's better... =]

my FC is 11L/100km. i think it is becoz my first c segment car, so i dont know what is the average FC for c segment. haha...

ya...seriously, when i have extra money, i will change it to 16" rims at least...coz 17" not only too much, and it is too "hard" when running on malaysia road...everytime go over uneven road, feel like the whole dashboard want to drop out like tat...>.<"...
*
stock tyre is very hard like plastic, doesnt feel like rubber. if change other tyre will be better.
at least wont feel like ur whole car wanna tercabut. lol. should at least give continental mc5 as stock.

not the passenger seat. The sound is very clear came from the passenger air cond vents, it's like a plastic cable hitting a metal. BTW, I fixed the driver seat sound by my own. it's simple but how come the SC fellow couldn't fix it for 2 times... I really doubt they are well trained or not?
*

Hmm...It is definitely not from brakes. I get it while accelerating. Thanks anyway.
*
common problem la

driving <30km/h
during acceleration
off ac then no sound
glokk glokk glokk

solution so far,

1. exhaust cone
2. stabilizer link bar
3. compressor
4. steering rack

Hopefully they will not say "It's Normal" or "Wait Korean Tech Come"..
*
setapak sc already told me korean technician came and claimed it is normal brows.gif

QUOTE(ohde @ Sep 26 2013, 08:08 AM)
I have encountered that also!

After driving long distance (outstation 150km), when back home driving up slope to enter the building, low speed, the sound come up fuk fuk fuk  sweat.gif

Daily driving will never hear that sound, weird
*
i think normal drive ur surrounding noisy, if u drive at quieter noise u will hear it

some ppl claimed they did not have this problem, but probably their ear is not fussy enough for them to notice.
kinda neglectable since it only happen during acceleration at low speed.

some mfc members claimed stabilizer link bar and got it solved, some claimed compressor but most said it did not solve the problem. few claiming steering rack, still waiting for feedback.

QUOTE(simtien @ Sep 27 2013, 12:01 PM)
Hi, anyone have the experience of the 5 years warranty got void? Mine got void. My warranty is 2+3, 3 years is covered under the Alliance insurance company. The reason of it being void is because one of my service mileage was over by 1000plus km. Did you guys manage to appeal? I tried to appeal, but fail.

Hope that someone can give me some advice.

Thank you.
*
this is very common already, few members from MFC and CFC kena.

if u exceed ur service mileage or service date, even by few km or a day, void means void.
consider black and white since we didnt service our car accordingly.

usually some kind sc will alter mileage for you when u service, if date cannot do much.

hmm.gif i've just did my 30k km service, damaged was 530+ & i sent my car 3 days after due but mileage still not reached, i remembered one staff at sc did say that svc maintenance schedule must be strictly abide if not very difficult to claim, but yours 1 time only still can void? Sorry for u man.
*
3 days after due date, this kind of case will be rejected if any claim toward Allianz in the future.
1 time also they void, from their point of view they do business no charity. they dont let go any chances.

but if yours is 5 years from Naza then no problem.

follow maintenance date and mileage, whichever come first.

then no headache.

if not can consider to service outside after 2 years Naza warranty.

nothing...

Certain track junkies tires crack far worst than that, and those tires still can last them for 3-4 events.

If you want to be sure, balik rub soap water on the crack. If got bubble, means sudah bocor, if no bubble, no bocor.

QUOTE(hariznordin @ Oct 8 2013, 02:29 PM)
Thx bro.. So now what's the conclusion? Missing one chop is ok?
*
if i am buying then not ok, since missing/late one service consider lost the 3 years external warranty already.
unless they give some decent compensation or letter of assurance from naza itself, since they say can kautim.

even when i claimed warranty, sa claimed than korean technician said blablablabla, this la that la.
then when i request for letter assurance from naza for my safe keeping, they haven reply my email yet.
usually they reply in few days. this case already few weeks lol, i bet they are cracking their head.
