Both Hotlink & Celcom still honour the old package until today, unlike DIGI which couldn't care less and just changed the old package whenever they like.
I'm am porting out from DIGI and hope other will do the same. Stupid DIGI.

DIGI is a real big cheater. I hv been using prepaid DIGI since 1996 with Super Long Life, and now they tell me I can't go on 365 day because I have changed to the V1. I still have hotlink and Celcom prepaid line with 1 year & 2 years long life package, even though the package is not available now and has been discontinued, replaced with Hotlink FAST and MAGIC SIM.

Honestly, over the years i don't know how my package ended up as DIGI Best Prepaid V2. V2 does not have SLL and you can't change to V1 to enjoy SLL. That is where i am stuck. My point is DIGI should be responsible enough in inform long term customers of the changes in the plan, and should not short change them by removing SLL.

What I am trying to point out is that if we have signed up any telco prepaid package with SLL, then we should continue to enjoy it until we decide to terminate. The Old(Celcom and Hotlink) still have SLL, even though it has been discontinued and replaced with new prepaid packages. DIGI, on the other hand, can change the package at their whim and fancies and that is not ethical. For those who are on Digi Best Prepaid V1, don't be surprised that one day there won't be SLL. If it happens, that is pure cheating customer and DIGi has done it and capable of doing it. It it the only Telco in Malaysia doing it now. |
