with the SLL, will the free basic internet still works?
*
It doesn't matter because prepaids that do not get free basic internet can still enjoy IDD Internet Club for up to 10 years straight. Go read the topic I linked above.

Any idea what is disadvantages?

For as long as your account is active. Depends on what you deem a disadvantage is. It's after all FOC for 10 years and unprecedented.

No. Telcos will only allow you to use their service if your line is active only.

From my experience it was way better than U Mobile basic internet. But lately I've seen some improvement in U Mobile. Good job then.

Yes. see below

So I'm guessing the free 2GB LTE during weekends will only be for the one year then? As I don't see the term 'FOR LIFE' next to it. blink.gif

All I know is that if your plan is an older one, you can always convert to the newer one. However if your plan is a newer one you cannot convert to an older one.

Funny la, why you guys still want SLL when you can get all these for rm20 for 30days [ valid for first 6mths, thereafter is rm30 per mth ] ,

No offense but to me it's pointless. I don't do heavy Facebook and I do need my sleep.

Also please be transparent and inform us that DiGi has got nothing to do with it. I've asked DiGi Centre and they say that it's offered by vendors only. How you guys managed to hijack the system for sure looks funny to me. DiGi needs to do a lot of answering on their part.

i thought it have a 75 days grace period? can receive call but cannot make outgoing calls.. so at 74 days top up RM1 for 1 day validity can extend another 75 days.
This is i think for those who wants to keep the number.

Basically need to pay RM5~6 per year to keep the number. Am i wrong?

You are correct. Asked about it on Digi Helpline and the answer was yes.
