Is there a RM10 one time charge for subscribing to this IDD Internet Club?
Is the 64kbps internet permanent as long as line is active or is it just a month?
What exactly do you get with this subscription other than the lite internet speed?

Hardly any info on Digi website about this service. Anyone know a link where this service is described in detail.
*
Was just testing out, though read somewhere there's RM10 talktime rebate...?

From some posts that I've read here, I understand that the 64 kbps is 1GB quota per month and valid as long as the line is active?

Q3 : (CoP) I am an existing Digi Prepaid subscriber, can I change to Digi Smart Prepaid and
maintain my current mobile number?
A3 : Yes, all existing Digi Prepaid subscribers may change to Digi Smart Prepaid, EXCEPT for
Digi Prepaid Best v4. To change your plan, just dial *128*1*4# and RM5 will be charged
from your main balance.

See this link, what I meant about there being a promotion before.

Maybe acexii can shed some light on this?

DiGi Super Long Life 1 year discontinued? Can't find the option anymore?! The only option is RM 5 for 30 days.

P/S: On DiGi Best Prepaid v4.
*
Need to have a minimum credit balance of RM35 before the 1 year option will be revealed.

My 1 year validity will expire on 7 Aug.
If I didn't renew, it'll continue another 30 days ?
Meaning from 7 Aug - 6 Sept, I can received calls only...
*
I'd presume that it'll go into passive mode, but I'm really not sure coz I've my Digi card for less than a year.

Why won't you want to do the renewal? blink.gif

Anyway, best to check with Digi directly...

Hmm I just faced this problem as well, I have RM52++ credit inside but I don't see any "long life" under *128*1*7# menu. icon_question.gif

I'm however on DiGi Best Prepaid v3 though. But under *128*1*4# I only see change plan to "Digi New Best v1" and "Digi Smart Prepaid".

Update: Just called DiGi CS and "DiGi Best Prepaid v4" is no longer applicable (only for existing subscribers). My only option as per their advise, is to upgrade to "DiGi New Best v1", which they quoted to have slightly cheaper rates (I'm not even sure what's the current rate as this is my mom's number sweat.gif; from 26/sen per minute local call to 20/sen per minute).

The upgrade is done via *128*1*4# and will be charged RM3. After that, I can see the "Super Long Life" option under *128*1*7# menu which will cost me another RM38 for it. rclxub.gif
*
SLL is now RM38, so you need to have at least RM43 before the option can be revealed.

Right now, those on Digi Best Prepaid v3 can only upgrade to either Digi New Best v1 or Digi Smart Prepaid. SLL is still available for existing Digi Best Prepaid v4 users, as well as those with Digi New Best v1.

I foresee later on, us Digi Best Prepaid v4 users will have to upgrade to Digi New Best v1 in order to renew our SLL.

then how to change to new best prepaid plan?

there a note saying: Please select your rate plan carefully as you will only be able to change plans three (3) months after your switch to DiGi is successful.
*
From the FAQ:

http://new.digi.com.my/Page/products/default/all_prepaid - under Purchasing / Activating Digi New Best Prepaid

(CoP) I am an existing Digi Prepaid subscriber, can I change to Digi New Best Prepaid and maintain my current mobile number?
Yes, all existing Digi Prepaid subscribers may change to Digi New Best v1. To change your plan, just dial *128*1*4# and RM3 will be charged from main balance.

(MNP) I am not a Digi subscriber, can I switch to Digi New Best Prepaid and maintain my current mobile number?
MNP is possible, to Digi New Best MNP.

The option should be there somewhere, otherwise contact their Customer Service?

That's a post from over 2 years ago, that you've replied to. nod.gif

Anyway, it's now RM38 for the 365 days validity, and in order to see this option, the SIM card needs to have a minimum of RM43 credit balance.

DIGI is a real big cheater. I hv been using prepaid DIGI since 1996 with Super Long Life, and now they tell me I can't go on 365 day because I have changed to the V1. I still have hotlink and Celcom prepaid line with 1 year  & 2 years long life package, even though the package is not available now and has been discontinued, replaced with Hotlink FAST and MAGIC SIM.

Both Hotlink & Celcom still honour the old package until today, unlike DIGI which couldn't care less and just changed the old package whenever they like.

I'm am porting out from DIGI and hope other will do the same. Stupid DIGI.  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Isn't SLL still available for Digi New Best Prepaid v1, that only the v2 doesn't have it? confused.gif

Last time we're forced to upgrade our plan in order to subscribe for SLL.

Now we're resisting the upgrade to the latest plan - v2 - because it's no SLL.

Digi, what are you trying to do? confused.gif

I'd say, check with the staff at the Digi Community forum, or best bet would be to drop by at a Digi Center. Check with them and if they say YES, made you reload to the required amount, then you better be able to do it.

Hope Digi dont turn out to be Hotlink.
Suddenly takes down validity without informing their customers sad.gif
*
I don't think these telcos will make announcements before removing their validity extension option, but instead tell us to refer to their website for the latest offerings. We normally only find out when someone here fails to renew/buy new validity package, approach them, then share the information.

At least Hotlink's Validity365 has been stackable, unlike Digi's which you can only apply/renew after expiry and the cost has been increasing too frequently. Not forgetting for Digi, you still have to check each time if they've change SLL to a new plan first.

Me and friends have Digi Best SLL expiring these couple of months, and I tell them they can only know the cost and availability when the time comes. Nothing can be done beforehand. shakehead.gif
