When you port to Digi Best, you'll be on Digi New Best Prepaid v2 plan.

The SLL for this plan costs RM68 for 365 days. In order to see the option, you need to have a balance of minimum RM5 on top of the cost, that is to have a minimum credit balance of RM73.

Have they removed the requirement to have RM5 more than the cost of SLL before we can see the option?

We can only get Digi New Best Prepaid v2 from shops these days.

The validity got extended by another 50 days after you reloaded that RM50.

Technically you can wait until the new expiry date to subscribe to SLL, but let's hope with so many changes these days, they don't make any changes to SLL in the meantime.

Yes, that's the SIM pack, though some dealers may sell it higher than the published price, for one reason or other.

Actually, V3000 has already given you the name of this pack in Post #676.

You won't be able to get v1 nor v2 from the shops these days, since Digi Prepaid Best was launched, so no worries. You can bring the photo you've posted earlier, to the shop for verification/assurance.

Digi has apparently removed the option for SLL 365 (and I think also the 30) from the latest Digi Best Prepaid 2016 plan, from what I've read from the Digi Community discussions.

Not sure how this is going to affect the older plans in the near future...

From what I've read from the Digi Community discussions, the removal happened only 3 or 4 days back. You can go check out those discussions tagged "Prepaid" and/or "Super Long Life".

FUP - Fair Usage Policy, same term they've been using for the Free Basic Internet and stuff.

Digi has updated this table for the latest SLL status - Super Long Life.

Don't quite understand what's the "truth" is about.

RM38 would be SLL for the older plans, and SLL365 is still available for those. Did I miss something?

I've a feeling this is going to happen.

Basically, check that table that Digi had put up (and updated so far) about the SLL eligibility. The list of versions are those they've come up with the past couple of years.

If you're already on the latest version (Digi Best Prepaid 2016?), then it'll be a DOWNgrade if you want any of the earlier versions (just to do SLL), and that is not allowed AFAIK. Downgrading of versions is not allowed by Digi.

If you ask, will this latest version ever have SLL, then I'll say "maybe". If they restore SLL with a RM108 price, you still want?

Come to think of it... I wonder if this is Digi's "excuse" to raise the price of SLL if there's still a demand for validity extension...

I brought a friend to buy a Digi Best card a couple of months back, and also bought RM70 worth of top-up vouchers for SLL.

I thought of sitting out the 1-month plus RM70 of validity... over 3 months' worth! ... but later decided against it. Glad I decided not to wait.
