And yes N4 WiFi is fairly weak but I saw a driver fix for the WiFi on xda before never tried , many claims it works ... Try searching for it

Issit a good idea to get a N4 now? I nv had an adroid device b4 and looking to get a not so expensive android phone to play around with. Flagships like htc one n s4 are abit too expensive just to try out. other mid ranges feels kinda cheap. thing is, not sure to wait longer for nexus 5 onot. what do u guys think?

N4 is definitely worth your money. Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 , 2GB Ram , 8GB/16GB Storage , Adreno 320

I know the Xperia ZL is having this spec too but N4 is pure google, no any stock software, more smooth, and be the first to get latest Android. You can see the old Galaxy Nexus still can get Android 4.3 while other dual core device like Xperia Ion didn't get 4.3 even 4.2. On N4, I can sure you can get Android 5.0 update too.

Far smoother than S4. Love the nexus line. Hope they make it bigger version 5inch plus.

I don't think Nexus 4 is subsidized by Google. Google just managed to somehow persuade those brands to sell it at lower price. Their cost price should be lower than the price Google selling.

Take Asus and LG for example, by letting Asus and LG to manufacture Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 respectively, google managed to sort of help them to get into android market else this market should be now fully dominated by Samsung and HTC with no place for LG and Asus to stand.

Just my thoughts.

Some ppl will eventually come out with the cost price of those devices (I remember they did calculate the cost for first gen Nexus 7). Then you will know that their cost price is actually still lower than Google's selling price.
Actually... Not Nexus underpriced. We should say other brands overpriced They throw in more premium hardware but the price increase is much steeper when compared to Nexus devices.

Certainly not on cm, unless you cherry pick them. I think CyanKang might have it, it is the rom compiled by Der_Schubi with cherry picks.
