hai gais , tell me why should I get N4 instead S3

Better chipset (S4 Pro APQ8064 vs Exynos Quad 4212 - Quad Krait 200 vs Quad A9)
Faster software update (Nexus 4 @ 4.3 vs S3 @ 4.2.2)
"Cleaner/Purer" software - personal preference (Nexus 4 vanilla android vs S3 heavily modded TouchWiz)

However, S3 win on the camera. No doubt

Price about the same so it's up to your choice.

And one more,
My uncle using S3, when he is playing candy crush, suddenly wife's call came in, his face goes  .
I  and show him my N4, open whatever game, phone rings, after hang up, game continues, life continues.
When I tell him the price of my N4, he goes further  . I go  .
Insufficient RAM + hell loads of bloatwares = problematic

No matter hardware or firmware, N4 confirm dominates S3.
Camera? Either you simply shoot with your phone, or you take it seriously with a DSLR.

have u try adjusting the screen brightness in setting ?

I'm using MX Player all the while but not sure support those format mentioned by you.

Also, you can download one apps call LUX Lite which is brightness control which override all apps and system.
