giroud's starting to look like his last season self again. this guy thrives when he's not playing under pressure, ytd he was scuffing chances again. to his credit he was audacious enough to try a bicycle kick from a corner, it's a very difficult technique to execute, kudos for even hitting the ball and not looking like a goof. but that shot was wide. nevertheless, i still think he'll have a better season this time.

our football isnt that attractive compared to invincibles, at times it can be frustrating to watch, esp during the xmas-february period when we, like usual, throw all sort of form out the window and resort to back passing most of the time. it is also frustrating to watch when we play against a team with a defend the base mentality, as they suffocate the space out of our passing game.

if we dont get suarez, which by each day is getting more likely, moving for cesc (if he wants to come back) wont be a bad move. there's not much in terms of classy forwards left except rooney who is still very unlikely to come, and if we dont get a forward then getting someone who would make a forward look classy would be a great alternative. adebayor and chamakh played better when they had cesc supplying them, and i rate giroud better than both
