i'm thinking newcastle doesnt get the same amount of hate arsenal did for being a french team, because of their lack of success. plus alan pardew is an english player, surely he would have connections/fans in the media. arsene wenger trolls the media, he's french, he's successful, his team lacks englishmen, his team with patrick vieira in it is notorious for bad disciplinary record... it's all stacked up

nice, at least the attacking quartet is all fit to start. interesting to see who pairs ramsey in CM. would it be a DM (frimpong) or a more attacking one (jack, AOC)

genaberi seems most likely to feature out of all the youngsters. AOC is already established, he will most def feature this season.
LWs we have are poldi, cazorla, AOC, gnabry. and if we have both natxo and gibbs fit, gibbs can feature on LW if we're desperate. and of course ramsey can play everywhere on the pitch lol This post has been edited by Thumpy Ick: Aug 16 2013, 07:33 PM |

i think chelsea'll win it this season. city 2nd, utd 3rd. 4th is anybody's guess. moyes will struggle in his first season, but if rvp turns it on they might give mourinho a good run in

if they can resolve the suarez situation and get coutinho to his top form, i see them easily in top 6. if top 3 is between chelsea, manu and manc, the other three should be arsenal, spurs and liverpool. everton might have a shout but i expect them to struggle a bit under new management

screw mignolet, let's get begovic. he's fantastic last season and it looks like he's gonna be fantastic again this season. plus we rid stoke of their best player and get them relegated! two birds, one stone!

damn i was so pleased when AOC + Giroud combined for the goal. i had high hopes for them this season, happy to see they start it brightly.
the first 15 minutes was blinding, we were playing like how i envisioned arsenal playing; quick and clever. after that tho, we slowed down and started overplaying/backpassing again. aston got back into the game, since the goal they realized the best way to play arsenal is to roughen them up and close up shop. since then we've struggled. |
