Yes they can easily buy players with that money, but not all players willing to play for them.
Unless they can offer big wages (like City), which I very much doubt they can do that.

exactly. top class players aren't tempted by Europa League (which is all Spurs can ever offer) wink.gif

Arsene Wenger hints Arsenal don't need to hit the transfer market to be contenders this season

Hope this is typical AW tactic, say one thing and then later did another..

Gedion Zelalem Asia Tour Highlights thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

QUOTE
Wilshere believes Zelalem will be the next big wonderkid to roll off the Arsenal production line.

‘He sees passes that not a lot of players can,’ said Wilshere.

‘You think “what’s he doing?” and suddenly someone is in. He’s only 16 and he’s an exciting player.

‘It won’t be long before he’s ready. He’s so comfortable on the ball. Even in training he’s a nightmare to play against.

‘He keeps the ball away from you and shields it. He’s not very big but he’s strong.

‘He drifts in and out of players. He’s quite a strong lad and technically he’s right up there.

‘He’s a good one for the future.’

quote from one of the fans...

QUOTE
This season is over. I'm no longer excited about the start of the season because there's nothing to hope for. How can he say that his current squad is good. It's the same boring losing team that barely won the last game. Nothing to be proud of. Wenger is spitting in our faces and laughing arrogantly and calling us stupid fans for believing the board and him want trophies. Wenger knew we would do everything to support or team buy the tickets the kits etc. and nothing would change. He's gonna last as long as Ferguson because nothing will change as he makes fun of us. I'm so frustrated that we as fans can't change a bloody thing.

so true... i have been less excited wif the new season for the past few years...... things are getting boring and predictable... same tactic by AW and the board lying through their teeth... every season say got huge transfer kitty but end up without any good players coming around... players left without proper replacement...

AW + Ivan Gazidis + the farking American owner = Arsenal's downfall...

we will never be the same Arsenal of David Dein's era....

It's easy to blame people when you didn't know the real situation.
So many negativity...

What choice do we have? We want to support the team, but this team not ambition enough to battle for the top spot (unless 4th place is consider top spot). It's easy for some of you to say "jump ship", but after support the team for 10-13 years (although the last 2-3 years not really enthusiastic compare to earlier years), you think it's easy to jump ship?

Same typical years lol....

Early season we gonna have a good start. Wenger will say the team is in good shape, everything great.

Later nov-dec we'll start having problem such as injuries, drop points and Wenger will come out say we need some reinforcement lol

Then if lucky we might sign 1 or 2 players, all things start to click again, team performances increase and jeng..jeng..jengggg guess what...miraculously we will end 4th spot again somehow lol.
