At last we had reach home!

Our Maltese - Angel had bring us surprises, she is performing very well at the Penang dog show & won us some titles, let me list down:

At the first show, Angel & my gf (Ying) was quite nervous since this is both their first show, hence it is good enough for them to obtain a "reserve CC"

When it comes to second show, both of them are well prepared, Ying is very focused & knows what to do, while Angel really get the judge attention by her look & the way she walks, it is amazing as she walks very lightly like dancing, which brings her these great titles:

Firstly, she won a "CC"

Then, she obtained "Best of Breed"

Next, she moved on to compete with other breeds among her group (group 7) & won the titles "Best Puppy In Group" "Best Malaysian Bred In Group"

She move on further to compete with the other "Best Of Breeds" among her group & won the title "Reserve Best In Group"

Well we thought she might stop there since for a local bred puppy, it is already amazing to being competitive to the other adults & imported dogs, but she didnt put us down & brought us our best new year present!

"Reserve Puppy In show" & "Best Malaysian Bred In Show"

I'm feeling very proud & wish to tell my Angel how proud I am if she understands me, i kept telling her, hope she understand!

And to my beloved gf, i wish to say she deserved it after much effort she had put on the maltese.

It has been long for a maltese to go that far & we felt thankful our Angel had gone this far, & hope she can go further! (Which means more hardwork!)

Wish all maltese lovers can share the happiness with us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Let me introduce u guys a bit about Maltese as not many people know about this cute lil cutie. thumbup.gif

The Maltese is a toy dog covered from head to foot with a mantle of long, silky, white hair. He is gentle-mannered and affectionate, eager and sprightly in action, and, despite his size, possessed of the vigor needed for the satisfactory companion.

well personally i feel that the advantages of choosing maltese are:

Their hair wont drop, or juz very least.

Suitable for those who love dogs that are not too hyper, juz active enough to keep u company.

Not too barky but will alert u when there are strangers or strange things happens.

Well how abt those who own Maltese feels?

tat's June,
just got it yesterday
she's about 2 months old and super active.
i bought the royal canin junior food, any advice for good food?
good shampoo for her coat??
and any other advice?

thx guys
*
Royal Canine is quite good in quality, but i do prefer BlackWood, All System is great quality shampoo, although the price is damn high, but it is concentrated 1, u can dilute it with water, 1:3 means 1 bottle equals 4 bottle actually, i always buy the biggest packaging, more worth it. Comaparing to normal shampoo, u juz need to use a relatively little, so for me it is cheaper for long term usage.

thinking of trying the lamb+rice, supposed to be more natural

damn more expensive than the ones i use for myself

shmpoo i think i bought john paul brand for puppies and conditioner
argh, since White Palace said my maltese more like cotton, i dont know if her fur will b that long
*
Hehe.. cotton like might grow long fur but the chance not able to grow long until touching the floor is higher. I do know this batch of her pups mated with another male dog, so hopefully the fur will grow long. But anyway, shorter fur if u groom nicely is very cute also, perhaps i love them to have short hairs unless i need to show them. smile.gif

hey dude, long time have not seen u online. well June is doing fine just that she loves to nibble. here's an updated picture of heruser posted image

btw, i'm still having problem removing her tear stain.
*
yeah, tear stain is really hard to solve, i used to cut the hairs around the eyes but 1 experience breeder/ dog show expert told me that we suppose to let it grow long so that it wont further irritates the eyes of the dog when it grows longer which means we have to cut over & over again.

we should use all the knowledge we know to reduce the tear stain WHILE not cutting the hairs and let it grow longer so that u can comb it towards front & down, which means away from eyes. gtg chat again nxt time

Hi All,

I am looking for Maltese puppy, preferably with MKA cert.

Anyone mind to recommend me some good breeder or any good pet shop to get one ?

What is the reasonable price for a MKA cert Maltese (small type) ?

Please help smile.gif

Thank you all.

Rgds,
Alan
*
Hello Gred, you can contact me & pay us a visit to view our maltese, then you shall call up MKA & compare the quality & pricing, or the other way round as you wish. But since wizardboy had been waiting for long, he will be given priority.

For a pet quality maltese it will cost you around RM1500-RM2000. Our maltese are potentially show quality BUT we will not conclude that until we bring our dogs for show and will see are we up to the standard. So, we are still selling it at pet quality price, but most important thing is they are for good homes only.

We will advice whoever who bought dogs/pups from us to bring the dog/pup to vet for check up within 3 days, if proven any permanent/serious disease from reputable vet, we will fully refund the money.

Can i ask u something abt my maltese?

I plan to let her keep long hair, but now her front hair growth until very long...so I tide with rubble bands. Mayb i tide too tight or tide too long (I tide her hair after bath...and untide her hair in the next bath time...abt 1 weekm time laugh.gif ), some of her hair putus become short n kenot be tide.... this always borther her eyes sad.gif ...but i have to tide tight..coz she always scratch her head n mess her hair.... mad.gif

Is there anywhere to "uphold" her front hair and the hair won putus so easy? Do i have to tide her front hair all the times? I don 1 2 trim her front hair short..coz everytimes once the front hair growth longer...they will borther her eyes.... doh.gif

Can I know how u solve ur maltese front hair?Tide with wat?Or need to always trim?If tide the hai

Hello there, thanks for asking smile.gif

1) If you are going to tie your maltese' hair, you have to untie it, recomb, & retie EVERYDAY.

2) I suspect that the rubber band you use is those normal ones, the surface might be rough & will harm the hair. Do search around for those rubber bands where the surface is smooth, like human ones, but in doggy's size.

3) Do purchase the paper which used by groomers to wrap the hair before you actually tie it, ask the grooming centres and they will normally sell that to you.

Hope this help, and feel free to ask if you have any further queries. smile.gif
