While of course new car always bring the feel good feeling the most to the owner, it also brings together the biggest chunk of depreciation.
while with 2nd hand cars, usually the depreciation will not be that bad compared to the new car buyer.
If you look at the budget of around 100K you actually leave yourself with alot of choices, and not limited to those city, vios, jazz, swift, yaris, etc.
For example comfort wise wouldn't a year 2005 camry, accord be better?
For looks i'd go for the Mazda 6 anytime
in terms of performance arguments on top.... hell a manual myvi 1.3 version can give all the jazzes, vioses, swifts a run for its money.
and i supposed the 79K 1.6 manual sentra can outdo the 1.8 altis and all the above.
so pick wisely..... personnaly i drive a swift most of the time, gf's car and while it is a good car, a very fun to drive car. because she insist to get a new car at that time. Now she is definitely going to be stuck with the car for some time. Loan so high, now 2nd hand market so slow. if wanna sell the car gotta pay money to cover loan some more.
Sell car and give money ??? WTF? hahahaha...
my 2 cents of rantings... lol.....
