Quite similar to Note 2 - this again depends a lot on what you do with the phone This phone standby mode ( due to its stamina mode) outclass the Note 2 and all other phones I have used to date ( except Xperia Z) I can also easily achieved 6-7 hours SOT on the Note
I see. Btw, is it practical to use a 6.4" phablet as your primary phone on a daily basis?
Why not ?? Again my needs are different from yours I always have no issues handling a big size phone . Since Note 2 ( 5.5), I have progressed to Pantech Vega No6 ( 5.9 inch), Mega 6.3 ( 6.3 inch), Mate ( 6.1 inch) My phone fits very well into my pants side pockets. I can even put in a Galaxy Tab 7.7 inside but not an ipad mini
Nice to hear. How about making/answering calls?

I agree on that, I don't have or try the Xperia Z Ultra yet.
But I can 100% confirm as well Mega 6.3 can fit nicely in my jeans even when I seat on. I purposely try my friend Mega 6.3 yesterday and it fit nicely without issue.
Do you know what happened to my SIII screen? It cracked from the INSIDE and I suspect that it's due to my tight jeans pocket (Been wearing it for 1-2 weeks)
Sorry : " How about making/answering calls?" - I find this a funny question ???? Just take out and swipe to take calls and use keypad to type in numbers or choose contact - what is the issue you are facing ??? If you are thinking of using one hand - than I will say is not advisable. This is meant to be use with 2 hands !! Even iphone 5 I use with 2 hands never single handed
I mean do you pair it up with a bluetooth headset or something? Because due to the size of the phone, it might be difficult holding it up against your ear with one hand. And besides "that look", I may consider getting one but I will look terribly ridiculous when picking up calls/answering them.
So just want to hear from your experience

I must say you have more dark hair at 58 than me at 42. What's your secret? Hehe
Ok, I must say, it doesn't look socially acceptable to hold that mammoth to your ear. Dunno if its just me, but it looks kinda outrageous. Looks like have to get the SBH 52 headset along with it
Ya, both phone I also try before and weight wise both is similar to me. Even though Z Ultra is much longer in dimension but thanks to it slimmest design, I find it much comfortable when putting in my jeans front pocket.
Be careful when sitting down especially for such a large and thin device, there will be a lot of pressure and flex on the device. Don't wanna let it end up like my SIII
