QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 31 2013, 08:41 PM) check the output of your charger usually for smartphones it's 5v. but it some cases with big batteries, like note 2, companies will provide a charger with higher output. not sure whether it's the case for z ultra Its the current which determines the rate of charging. Higher amp adapter such as ipad ones are rated at 2A while normal ones are around 1A iinm. Tho, higher amp MIGHT reduce the battery life span at a long run. Higher amp charger adapter will charge the phone faster. This post has been edited by ck.chunkeat: Jul 31 2013, 08:45 PM

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 31 2013, 06:57 PM) Those who has updated to latest firmware may I know how you guys, say do some scribblings sketches on an image For plain writing how you do it without using the pad in the Sony keyboard The videos I posted earlier show it can be done I have updated to latest firmware too. Besides slight improvements in the sensitivity n letters recognition I haven't to find a way to do such stuffs Some guideline is appreciated Yes the palm rejection is still there BTW I have found the app Sketch that allow me to write/sketch freely. Don't know how I missed that earlier on. Palm must not be touching the display to write/sketch freely Anyway I am interested in how to scribble n sketch on an image file ; I saw this being demo in one of the promotion videos

QUOTE(Xirality @ Jul 31 2013, 08:49 PM) if use higher like 2.1A will it charge faster? Actually I don't really know. There are 2 opinions - some said it will charge faster while some said it will not as the phone will limit the amount of current being input in Anyway I always use my ipad ( 2.1A) charger to charge all my phones/tablets - has been doing this faithfully past 5 years. So when I sell off my stuffs, the charger/cable is usually brand new/intact !!

Finally I manage to find only one old ( inkless ) ballpen that works perfectly and seamlessly ( as well as the pencil) for writing, pointing to launch apps, typing on keyboard, sketching etc . I have 14 of such old inkless ballpen of various brands/types I got this pen while attending an exhibition about 2 years ago at Suntec Singapore. It is more convenient to carry a pen than a pencil to use with this phone So it is true some ballpen points can work !!

I just don't know why Sony didn't put it and make it two model instead Xperia Z and SP all has 3 model. One 3G for market like India, the other is Asian/European band LTE while the other supports northern American and other. I must say that Sony seems to rush this one out. It the fastest Sony launch availability ever. I wonder if all snapdragon 800 ffeature like audio chip, usb 3.0, low energy voice command, are available in this phone

QUOTE(kuntakinte @ Jul 31 2013, 06:53 PM) Where did you get this from, bro? How much? Why not wait for the SBH 52? It has extras like built in speaker, HD sound etc. I guess the XZU is simply too enticing to wait any more, huh? I have to reminding myself not to be taken in by this thread's venom, I want the LTE version, I am still young, I can wait! My friend got from Hong Kong for me. I pay him 240 for it. I hope this one is good....
