I was like some of you. Wanting to wait for LTE but after some deep thought, LTE will not be widely available, god knows when so end up getting the 3G model.

Having LTE is great but network support still very infant stage. I think can live with 3G for now. By time LTE develop, I think another few more newer phones arrived. Well, thats just my personal opinion.

Bro, once you have eaten the forbidden fruit, there's no turning back.

The places where I stay and frequent are all LTE ready. When my wife's iPhone 5 keeps registering a consistent score of 25mbps at home with near zero latency while my nexus 4 is creeping at a snail's pace of 5mbps, you'll know this is what you ultimately want

LTE is consistently faster than my maxis home fiber of 10mbps but on the flip side, its a huge battery drain

I digress. Maxis 3G is getting worse by the day, huge latency during the day that even checking your gmail is so tediously slow and messages may need a few tries to retrieve. Facebook images load poorly or doesnt load at first try. Its gotten so bad that Sometimes, I even use my wife's iPhone 5 as a hotspot to connect into.

Aha! Time to change your clothing to accommodate the phone
No more tight fit jeans. Get those deep side pocket slacks. Buy T shirts with pockets

snapdragon 800 has few skus. One with HSDPA+ and another with LTE built in. You might need to check whether it is hardware or software limitation.

check the output of your charger

usually for smartphones it's 5v. but it some cases with big batteries, like note 2, companies will provide a charger with higher output. not sure whether it's the case for z ultra
