Thats why Samseng leading, they don't need a good looking phone, all they need is good looking show girl. Their marketing strategy still stronger...

mine's scratched already. hairline. probably from a jeans rivet that i didn't notice of. or in a handbag full of keys coins yada yada.

For me Samsung was the best, my Galaxy S2, Note 1, S3, Note 2, iPhone 5 and S4 first day put SP, back plastic best sekali, no need peel off as got hole for camera lens and speaker already, so I just leave it on and just put back cover on it. No my XPERIA ZU need to get both side SP first, then only can peel off. I don't like peeling off the back plastic, but I no choice cause no hole for camera lens so now my ZU camera quality like crap. Just ordered double side SP from CubixShoppe and waiting for delivery, then after that, my ZU will be awesome.

Wah! Samsung or Apple you also use screen protector? No need la, those won't scratch. Unless you stay at beach, everyday play with sands.

Sony may need to use SP as Sony got stupid Shutter Proof Sheet, or else also no need.

if use case don't look as thin la. haha. actually it's pretty solid and well built. but, as your screen property grows, there will be higher risk of getting scratches also.

the surface size of ultra so big its better to get a folio/flipcase, more prone to crack the screen than scratching it. with folio case, no need back sp oso.

Right. I never want to use SP n if supplied foc I will usually take it off. Those that come with it uninstall I will normally installed it when I sell it as most users are paranoid. I feel these SP sellers are exploiting on human sense of insecurity
I have used so many phones n tablets all not even a hairline scratch. All my buyers of my stuffs can confirm this. All like day one condition .My stuffs always in covered cases
But I will need to apply one on this phone as the antishatter film is scratchable with hard pressure but not light pressure. As said I now using my pen as finger in all actions on display. Sorry to say that but Only careless users get their stuffs scratched

x-reality not yet available on xzu now. ask again after the LTE version is launch

Is only available in 9sep firmware update

X-Reality is just some software enhancement pushing up the color, sharpness, reduce noise and etc during view photo via Album app or during watching movie. It basically similar with Bravia Engine 2 in Xperia Z.

Currently no X-Reality in Xperia Z Ultra yet, it just bundle with Bravia Engine 2 for now, source mention X-Reality will appear around Sept, 2013.
