It is normal, dont worry. Btw the x800 works fine with the x850 bios with no problems ? Then it should be the ones using R480 cores, lucky u.
the limit of X800gt..?, anyone know..?

For sure, 16 pipes with nice clocks, but more heat from the core. I think u wait for the Ati Silencer 5 until u began the OC.
