After a few times of dying and losing 6 stack pools of Pool of Reflection... I've decided to increase my toughness. From 291k DPS and 1.2 mil EHP, I am now 242k DPS, 2.1mil EHP.

Here is what I did:

1. I sell all the Emerald in my armor and replace with RS Diamond. Cost 10mil each last night. This morning around 8.5mil.
2. Replace my beloved crafted trifecta gloves with Gladiator Gauntlets.
3. Replace Serenity with Dashing Strike. This skill is really cool! Since I switch last night, I have no death yet!
4. Since I no longer have skill that has cool down, I drop Beacon Of YTar and embrace Guardian Path / Near death experience.

My monk feel awesome now and less death in T6!

you doing it solo or in party? Solo-ing to6 seems pretty slow to farm anything, I think.

how to use the palm + dashing strike effectively huh? never used these 2 skills before in d3. lol...cant seem to find synergy. too noob. hehehe...

Mostly party. But even with 2.1mil EHP, I will have difficulties killing Elite. So, the build is mostly for farming snake in T6, ie. Royal Run. No elite. I made some video in my previous post.

i used them separately. DS for mobilisation. Now I can find two portals for Pool of Reflection before even a quest start.

Palm during snake-killing. Also DS if surrounded and health dropping.

hello monks, what skills can do burst damage effectively in the current patch?
7ss is having long cooldown;
bell explosive light 731% but it cost 75 spirit;
exploding palm 40 spirit + 50% monster life when explode.

i'm running T3 act3 most of the time.
however my secondary char like wiz (frozen orb) or even dh 183k dps (cluster arrow) can clear T3 act3 much more faster than my monk ...

my monk current setup.. change from lightning monk to fire monk.. LOL

Try lashing tail kick.
Cyclone strike dishes out 1m+ damage for my build.

I find primary skills can dish out high damage in current patch.

Last but not least, you need toughness like fe3doe.
