I actually dont know what this company (Telebiz) wants me to analyze. They just called me up for interview and the girl told me the data is regarding sports. I was like WTF, sports and what? Any idea what is the job all about? I was thinking of analyzing data regarding to the market of sports products or something...

Didnt you ask the interviewing girl?

Last time i was in an interview and mentioned that it is about "food industry" and going to teach about "leadership, logistic, interpersonal skill, accounting, IT blahhh..." end up selling cake door to door, table to table in food court... (familiar?)

And after that i never ever trust any job that didnt describe the job scope properly.

Apart from that, as a data analyst basically you could be anything...

Analize:
- frozen cake market? (sell cake lar)
- nutrition level? (sell vitamin)
- public knowledge (sell priviladge discount card)
- accounting data? (we call it accountant, not data analyst)
- malaysia cleaniness? (wash toilet)
- plant life cycle (gardener)
- food industry (prolly sell nasi lemak)
- child education (selling child learning kit)

if it is something really good why dont they say it directly?
