Fed up with my Razer mouse. I heard Steelseries is good and it's ranked as top gaming mouse. Which model do you guys prefer and recommend me? smile.gif

What Razer mouse are you currently using?
And how much are you willing to spend? icon_idea.gif

Using Razer Lachesis. I saw Steelseries Sensei RAW is ranked top. So wonder what is your comment over here. Any other model you guys recommend? Spending, around 200-300 I think.

can check out the new SteelSeries Rival too. Recommend you to go try for yourself;
because in the end of the day, everyone has different preference.
IMO, the Sensei RAW is one of the better mouse I have used before. thumbup.gif

The Rival series is optical mouse, I don't want that sad.gif

Anyway I have bought Sensei [RAW], will try that out tonight smile.gif Thanks for your comment, really appreciate it thumbup.gif

which one did you get? rubberized or glossy? thumbup.gif

Glossy. I had bad experience with rubberised before sad.gif Hot -> melt -> end up I have to use alcohol to rub it out.

if not sensei raw is good too

I have bought Sensei RAW. The only bad thing I can feel is nonadjustable of DPI. Sad....sad.gif

I have minor issue like when I lift the mouse slightly from the mouse pad, the cursor will move.

I have found the mentioned issue, apparently quite lots of people experiencing the LOD issue. I've log a case for them. Hopefully there'd be a fix otherwise I'll gonna sell this.

Have you installed the SteelSeries Engine? I think you need to install the old one (2 instead of 3)
http://steelseries.com/support/downloads ; it's at the bottom of this page
after that you can set your CPI (DPI) as you wish.

and there's supposed to be a CPI switch button right under the scroll wheel IIRC to switch on the fly

Hi kenysl,

Thanks, got it rclxms.gif

But too bad it doesn't support LOD. Which is the most hateful thing from me against a gaming mice sad.gif

So sad, replied from SteelSeries support:

Hello Tan,

Sorry, there are no plans to change the standard Lift off Distance in the Sensei RAW mice.

Best regards,

I have sold off my Sensei RAW and get a Sensei now smile.gif

Everything is good, but one thing I need to check with you guys about the mice and I feel strange on this. The light of the logo, scroll and CPI button keeps turning on even though I have shutdown my PC, is this normal?
