Just bought the Steelseries Rival. Its quite good to use.
One thing I don't like is its wire which is not very flexible and it takes some time for me to get used to it. Anyone else have this problem ? And, I would like to ask, is the button under the scroll wheel used to toggle between profile ? I don't know why when I press the button nothing happens even though I already had 2 profiles. Lastly, how to clean this mouse's surface as sometimes it will leave some fingerprints ? |

QUOTE(hackcremo @ Apr 8 2014, 10:22 PM) How much you get it and where..?? Dont use latest driver from ss website. It have bug. Use the 3.1.4 driver, u can find it at overclock.net thread. RM239 @ PC fair. I will try to do so. But now my main problem is the wire that is not flexible. My razer deathadder don't have this problem. |

QUOTE(H3LLKEEPER @ Apr 22 2014, 06:41 PM) thats the onboard settings Can I ask, how to change profile on-the-fly using the button under the mouse wheel of steelseries rival ? memory means the place it saves all your profile inside the mouse dont think so they bring it in i've never seen it in any shops Because when I click the button it doesn't do anything. |

QUOTE(ntw @ May 5 2014, 12:47 PM) finally my SS Rival arrived. Bro, does the rival side buttons can be used to open specific programs or change between mouse profiles ?mini review of the SS Rival ![]() compared to my previous CM Storm Inferno, the SS Rival is significantly longer but shorter at height. the weight is about the same. Rival's mouse click is stiffer but easy to adjust to and the noise is softer than the Inferno. there are two things to complain about the Rival. 1) that it doesn't come with braided cable; 2) the middle button only toggles CPI but there's no indication as to which CPI profile is currently in use. Pros: Comfortable shape and matte surface Fancy 16mil lighting choices Soft mouse click sound Huge thumb buttons for easy access Simple and no-nonsense extra buttons Cons: Matte surface attracts fingerprints/sweat/dust Non-braided cable No indication of current CPI profile This post has been edited by DrEaMmyZ: May 8 2014, 02:58 PM |

I am having a hard time deciding between Steelseries Siberia V2, V3 and Prism, as most said the difference between the V2 and the V3 is not huge. There's a Ramadhan promotion for the V3 Prism too, which makes it's price even lower and same with the V2, but because it is using USB connector so I am having some doubts. Also, my laptop only has a combo jack and I think V3 suits it the best since it also has only a 3.5mm jack and not the usual dual headset and mic jack. I need some suggestions here. Please do help me decide this !
