Hey guys I'm currently in America now. If any of you wants/ needs lego set from America, do PM me. I'll charge only an additional $12 on the retail price. Current credit card conversion is $1=RM3.32. Subject to availability of space and weight and if I can find them.

Do let me know asap as I will be hunting some lego for myself in the next few days in New York. Last date for orders 16.8.2013. Btw, receipt will be provided to prove retail price. Thanks.

USD$12 not RM12. Yes regardless the size unless its a key change size. Anyway, subject to the size i can bring back. $1= RM3.32 is the credit card conversion rate. Its not determined by me. Thanks.

wow, you're going to go to this Lego Store at Rockefeller Center?  drool.gif
http://stores.lego.com/en-us/stores/us/rockefeller-center

The only thing I can think of getting from there is the New York minifig key chain http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=853309-1  laugh.gif Also got the yellow cab polybag, but polybag is not my kind of stuff http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=40025-1

Then if can find 21050 Architecture Studio I may be tempted to get it.

Hi all, let me answer some of ur questions here.

I will be back in Malaysia on 24.8.2013. I'm from the klang valley and would prefer COD at Centre Point, Bandar Utama. If you prefer postage, there will be additional charges for postage (depending on what poslaju is charging).

Alot of you have asked me to check the price first and then confirm with you before buying. Please note that there is a 12 hours difference and I cannot be checking with everyone before buying anything as I have limited time to shop. I propose that you give me a budget on how much you are willjng to pay for the items you order (in USD) excluding my service fee of USD12 (e.g. Budget willing to pay lego USD50 + service fee USD12 = USD62. The budget here is USD50 not USD62 [Hope I make sense]).

Upon COD, I will show you the receipt just to prove to you that the retail price of your item in within the budget you have given me.

In order to facilitate the number of orders and bigger items, I'm suggesting deboxing (which I'm glad some of you have agreed). If you do not want to debox please specifically mention in ur PM, otherwise I will consider all orders as 'deboxing orders'.

Please note that space is limited and I will try my best to help you bros to get what you need. No guarantee.

Would appreciate if you could alsoleave you name and telephone numbers with me so that I can mark which items belongs to who and contact you when I'm back.

Will deeply appreciate no FFK buyers.

Thanks.

Bros,

I forgot to mention one more thing. The budget on how much u r willing to pay is only the retail price (i.e. Exclude USD12 and taxes in New York). Taxes in New York is 8.875%.

Cheers.

Hey bro,

Speaking from experience, if you have a list of sets to bring back i would advise printing the online Lego store price with you as reference. Lego stores especially in NY has their retail price marked up usd2-5 for each sets. You can show the online price list to the store manager and they should be able to give you the online price rather than the store price. Hope this helps and thanks for the service you're providing for the community here biggrin.gif
Yea tax is quite high if buy from store. But considering the rrp is ok, so still quite acceptable after converting lol

Ok will try. Thanks for the tip. But i dont think they are obliged to do so. Nevertheless i'll try to see if i could get the best deal. Thanks again. Cheers.

Bros,

Let me answer most of your common queries here:

A lot of you (in fact most if you) gave me a budget based on the price shown on lego's official website. Like I said in my first post, I'll be going to rockefellar centre to check out the legos there. The prices there would be retail and would most likely be higher than the website. Also because it is in New York, it is subjected to New York sales tax. I'll try to use the website prices to pursuade the shop to give me that price but I cannot guarantee that they will as they are not obliged to.

Therefore if you have given me a budget based on the website (e.g. USD40) if the retail price is USD40.99, I WILL NOT BUY. I will only purchase them if they are below the budget you've given me (or if I have enough space). Pictures of the price tag will be taken in case any of you query why didnt I buy them.

Hope you guys can understand so that we can prevent any form of misunderstanding. Most important is that everyone is happy with with their purchases. Thinking about it makes me drool.gif I cant wait to go there and see all the legos.

Anyway happy collecting.

Cheers.

Good morning AFOLs!

Monday blues. Taking a couple of days off this week to run errands. Hopefully can get some bricking done - maybe will start building my Haunted House since already deboxed and kept in a paper bag now.

OT:

Has anyone applied for a dog license recently? I'm heading down to MPPJ later but thought can get some input. Anyone can help? Tried looking online but not much helpful info.

I heard I need to take a couple of photos like front view and side view full body to be attached to the application form.

I'm living in a corner house and the license is for my Rottweiler if that's important info. Thanks!  icon_rolleyes.gif

You only need one picture of your dog. It needs to be vacinated. Fill up a form and pay RM20. You'll get a dog tag then.
