QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Jul 29 2013, 11:12 AM) Wrapping things up on my MOC Ironhide and Ratchet yesterday. Not the most structurally perfect MOC I ever made (for this category I rated it a 7/10)... coz during photoshoot. the arm fell off into dozen pieces. Luckily I can rebuilt it immediately by referring to the other intact arm very nice bro.. both vehicle and robot form More photos is in my blog entry below: Vans: http://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2013/07/leg...het-part-1.html Bots: http://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2013/07/leg...part-2-bot.html And now , I shall rest for a week or so , go and buy / play with official LEGO sets to pass the time. QUOTE(wintzen @ Aug 2 2013, 10:32 PM) Somehow I feel Mega Blok is also so so in terms of the strength of holding each block together. Moreover, the quality compare to duplo is so different. yeah.. mega blok grip is not strong.. after heavy usage the blocks shape will deform a bit.. and very loose.. my son got frustrated n times because things we built kept falling apart.. the only good point is that the basic ones are much bigger than lego.. suitable for small toddlersQUOTE(littleprawn @ Aug 2 2013, 10:34 PM) hehe poisoned to get this mainly because of the figs.. robin and joker and the other 2... nice selection of figs in a single set |

I'm still looking for this set and catwoman set to complete my collection. QUOTE(hades4eve @ Aug 4 2013, 01:30 AM) Come back home found out my Laser Jet Printer toner gone by half... nicely done indeed! it means your niece treasures what you gave, and wanted to present the figs in the best way possible.. hahaFound evidence my niece was printing backdrop for the display... |

QUOTE(wintzen @ Aug 5 2013, 10:41 AM) Yeah, speaking of which. Against the GBP it's almost 5, USD about 3.3 now, and SGD about 2.6 (apparently all time highest). Not a good time to import right? yeap... am not making any more oversea purchases now... the "collapse" happens after the re-rating... hopefully rebound is in the horizon.. |

was at one utama during lunch.. in terms of summer set stock parkson has more selection than aeon. the fact that parkson vouchers are more expensive to redeem now is indeed sad news..
saw the small blue baseplates in aeon, priced at 39.90 each.. i thought there was a time it's priced at 29.90? |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Aug 12 2013, 12:13 AM) Back to topic, I think Lego is doing nationwide Chima promotion. Noticed TRU, Aeon and Parkson having promo and lots of stocks for Chima sets. Why don't they do it for other themes less demand for chima hence all the promotions? chima response overall is less impressive compared to ninjago.. |
