QUOTE(Mr. Alby @ Aug 1 2013, 07:20 AM) Good morning afols !.. too bad miss the grandpa, if not one complete set already Last night did some cod with forummers for the CS stuff...and went for yumcha for a while. And we did some picit-picit for the CMF packets that I bought from S@H. Its interesting to see how does the distribution considering they only allowed 32 packets for each transaction... Most of us there actually never picit-picit before..including me... Well...I did la picit-picit but never this serious... Here are some pictures...Sorry for the bad quality phone pics... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « when your CMF 1 - 9 arriving ??? QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Aug 2 2013, 12:15 PM) Daily 10 minutes maintenance 12:00-12:10pm problem with clear-transparent sticker is that they are using CMYK colours. Which mean that if you stick on dark surface it won't be able to bring out those colours.I'm also looking at printing to clear-transparent sticker. Most of the shops I found so far, are A3 white-blank-sticker to print. Not much choice you have, standard gloss sticker paper only. Since we print 1-2 A3 size only. Unless you going bulk like 10k-100k pieces, I think can approach printing factory directly and more options. Also, printer colour matching , is a problem for shops. WYSIWYG is unlikely. So far i couldn't find any shop that can print all full CMYK + White Layer. better explanation This post has been edited by kaneshiro21: Aug 2 2013, 05:36 PM |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Aug 2 2013, 05:44 PM) That's a valid point which I haven't think of yet. i did ask before, they mention that white cannot be printed using CMYK color code. i dont really understand why If CMYK, how does it print white on transparent then ? Let's say I just want a white-logo on a clear-trans sticker. they did provide another alternative, not sure if i got the term correct. first they need to print the silk layer to get the white then follow another print by the cmyk to for any non white color. this alternative is very pricey and need large volume. |

QUOTE(Seriously @ Aug 5 2013, 11:28 PM) very expensive, made quite a few mistake along the way as this is my first bricklink experience QUOTE(vey99 @ Aug 5 2013, 11:34 PM) thanks but still cant beat any 100% pure Malaysian theme design QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 6 2013, 07:00 AM) Good morning AFOLs, Batman & Iron Man my two favourite theme Strangely, green base plate more expensive than blue. Saw this at HK TRU website. HKD $ 20.00 = RM 8.32 (Brick Separator) HKD $ 74.90 = RM 31.17 (Blue Base Plate) HKD $ 79.90 = RM 33.25 (Green Base Plate 32x32) Yeah, they also display Brick Separator for sale as an individual item. Anything Batman related gets 2 thumbs up from me. Awesome! Maybe later on will have the Batman one. Patience ....... Nice! QUOTE(zoomckng @ Aug 6 2013, 07:27 AM) thanks. now sleepy mode already. |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Aug 6 2013, 10:59 AM) Thanks for the tip. Maybe will do a Gotham skyline scene or 2 different Bat logo for this. It does look abit empty. why not MOC those small batmobile and tumbler. But haven't decided if this is my final display set up. Maybe wanna get small ones and have 1 figure and 1 Batmobile in each one. ![]() Looks like some trial and error required to get measurements correct etc. just an idea, why not fill the base with lego plates. not necessary big, but mix of 4x4 or 6*6 and etc. |

QUOTE(Chaud @ Aug 7 2013, 12:06 PM) QUOTE(aba9785 @ Aug 7 2013, 12:08 PM) QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Aug 7 2013, 12:23 PM) Wah! I think put simply: USPS First Class - Pos Malaysia USPS Priority - Pos Laju Sorry no extra unless someone in the reserve list changes their mind... Photo teaser only! QUOTE(kenny_pang @ Aug 7 2013, 12:23 PM) Actually some of the flat-rate USPS Priority is sent by Pos Malaysia. e.g. flat rate small box Priority is by Pos Malaysia and has label starting with 'L'. thanks for all the info Anything with label starting with 'L' is by Pos Malaysia, 'C' and 'E' (Express Mail International) is by Poslaju. https://www.usps.com/ship/service-chart.htm go to the International Tab and note no 5 fine print at the bottom of the page. Small flat rate box and flat rate padded envelopes are not trackable, they have 'L' label. package just sent out paypal charge me 3.36 conversion rate it starts with LJxxxxxUS, so I guess it's Pos Malaysia first time using Priority Flat Rate Envelope coz it's only USD 4 difference compared with First Class Flat Rate Envelope. |
