I seems to forgetting to post something about my lil DIY to make my Winter Village Toy Shop look nicer.
Remember I talk about Satin Cloth earlier? This is a small DIY that I made with stitches and sewing I dun like my Christmas Toy Shop landed on a black tarmac.. therefore i tried to "simulate" snowy area... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Reason why I dun make it smaller is because I hope to make a bit of uneven texture on the surface buy budging the side, maybe I left too much cloth at the side. So is slightly fail. So now, doesn't it looks like White Christmas now? Happy Early Christmas to everyone! Ho! Ho! Ho! This post has been edited by hades4eve: Jul 26 2013, 12:02 AM |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Jul 25 2013, 11:39 PM) Lucky I'm not into Hobbit. This Azog is a big improvement over the one from the set with Thorin and the tree set. Thanks man They might have this in future sets since Thorin and Azog's smackdown is not seen in the movies yet. Yeah - that's why I bought it. Very nice but prefer to have M4A1 rifles but seller doesn't have them. Settled for MP5s instead. Nice job. Snow should be uneven. At least you made something special for your sets to make it stand out. I guess something else that can be used (if it's in an aquarium-like display ie Daiso case upside down) would be Styrofoam beads? You need something deep to contain the Styrofoam or it'll fly everywhere. I used to create artificial snow on a display before. But the cost of getting the chemical is too expensive. Therefore I rather save it. Creating artificial snow will only worth it, if I create the whole village of Winter Village. |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 26 2013, 01:09 AM) Nice collection! Really like your DIY display. Point taken. The problem will be finding the right cloth to cover background. Haha. This shows that I dun have any skill in photography at all Are those from BrickArms? I'm going to Singapore for the weekend, am tempted to pick up some BrickArms gears if I chance upon any... Can share how much you paid for them? Bro, I don't mind taking the minifigs. Do let me know how much if you intend to proceed with it. Hmmm.... I kept looking at the photos and was wondering what you were trying to show...? Cute MOC! |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 26 2013, 10:55 AM) Lucky for my wallet those codes don't mean anything to me... The place you buying got selling white bricks? or white baseplate? Oh no! So sorry to see that! Is it something unavoidable with HT or you got unlucky? Maybe I shouldn't ask too many questions... Nanti I get sucked into HT! Yeah, that alien minifig cost a bit... Hope you don't ask me to pay a lot for all the minifigs! I plan to buy lots of plates and bricks soon.... Anyone interested to tump any order? |

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Jul 26 2013, 11:40 AM) Nope... Everyone has strong defense against the above mentioned poison already... No wow factor with those sets... Oh? Already Immune to POTC / SW or old modular, I tot got lobang for those pulak? Yes but availability changes from week to week... You know the Pick-A-Brick (PAB) wall in the Lego boutiques? I am able to order those PAB boxes. If you want to make those giant Lego sculptures you will need to buy the bricks this way... Alrighty! Finally I'm almost at the border! Oh... let me think think which bricks I really need then... This post has been edited by hades4eve: Jul 26 2013, 12:34 PM |

QUOTE(cruiseantz @ Jul 29 2013, 12:51 PM) 2 cent comment: LLM should have made the DS support column transparent....at least the DS will appeared 'floating" hehehehe & won't spoil other mini land scenery. I was hoping they have some kind of blinds to separate the different diorama of the scene.... |

QUOTE(elementz @ Jul 30 2013, 12:09 AM) You're right.. It's not impressive at all.. They might as well just display the Death Star in The Big Shop.. You know, initially I tot LLM will have some somewhat-big hall to display the SW The Garbage Masher display's electronics all also ruined.. Cause a lot rain water get into the display..
