I've been thinking of getting the haunted house #10228 but it seems like the standard price is 899 (Brick Bastion / BB Toys). Just wondering whether this is the best (and only) price i can get in the retails outlets in Malaysia/Online? I know some were selling it on LYN for about 750-800 since they bought it in bulk but i believe all units has been sold..I've also checked Brick Link (HK sells it for 600++). I guess after shipping fees, the price will be about the same as well.

A friend of mine will be travelling to south korea this weekend and i've also asked her to check whether the shop at Dongdaemun http://legoasia.blogspot.com/2011/11/lego-...e-nov-2011.html have it. However, if she couldn't find the set there, i guess i'm left with the only option available here... 

so the set of shell ferrari lego worth RM150 now... i wonder should i let go of my extra set

Yea I got a nagging feeling it'll be picked up sooner or later by brothers-brick.com . Last time I did submit my MOC there but didn't get layaned (they keep a very high standards in MOC selection,  design, the  photo quality as well etc etc). So I given up doing that now. let them discover my MOCs in the wild and pray hard.LOL.

yes, amazon supposed to cover the tax if u using i-parcel. but urs amazonglobal, or standard shipping?

Bro check back with Amazon. I believe their policy is to calculate and collect import deposit upfront when you place order. If not enough, amazon will absorb the tax costs themselves. If they collect too much they will refund you. I read this somewhere on their website before. Maybe it has changed.
Maybe i-parcel clearing agent at LCCT screw up? The tax is supposed to be charged back to Amazon.

What happened to your shipment bro? Need to claim insurance? Can't just complain to Amazon and ask them for refund?

Actually I have received some shipments from Amazon using i-parcel even last year. It is a cheaper shipping option and takes longer (ard 2 weeks), but sometimes this option is not available for shipping to Malaysia. Have not experienced any problems with i-parcel so far, other than banged up boxes. Touch wood!
