Cannot ride an EX5 because not used to clutchless bike. It has a nice quiet engine and good fuel economy.
Cons.
The biggest turn off is front drum brakes. doh.gif
Cannot wade though flood water as deep as some other bikes since the head is horizontal.

Learned to ride on an RXS and I had to take the exam twice. blush.gif
Currently using Suzuki RG110 with clutch.
Mine is sweet 16 and still going strong. Pro is the bulletproof engine. The engine including the cylinder head has never been opened. Just need to maintain petrol and high quality 2T oil. (Castrol 2T Race) and ride. 4T change once a year. Good for short distance commuting. The only con is the fuel consumption.
Still have my '82 RXS115 and '95 TZM150 if I want to ride long distances. brows.gif

When it comes to reliability, 2T FTW. No timing chains, no valvetrains, just a simple proven engine design using ports and expansion chamber that literary runs forever if maintained carefully.
Although not a big fan of Honda, they were kind enough to invite me to their plant in Penang celebrating the 2,000,000th bike out of Kah Motor Assembly Plant in '98 or '99. I'll take a pic of the jacket and post it up later. biggrin.gif

I had a memorable time visiting their plant with their courteous staffs and personnel.
Anyone here attended that event?

actually i owned 2 honda wave125...and both of them already wading through flash flood as high as the engine already submerged inside water (only airbox above water)...just keep the rev high and keep moving.... post flood check sees no problem or water seepage whatsoever whistling.gif

Really? The spark plug cable did not get wet? Amazing.. Where's the location of the spark plug?
Anyway, I was referring to the EX5. Always seeing them pushing the bike after going through deep puddles or flash floods.... laugh.gif
