it's much slower than typical 7200 rpm hdd, with the exception of some high speed ones
what is MS thinking? or are they referring to NAND-based flash storage as memory, by means of IDE or firewire?

QUOTE(imperialrealcs @ May 17 2006, 11:21 PM) er, USB 2.0 is running at 480mbps while IDE hdd 133mbps.. even SATA2 at 300mbps only.. however, if the vista pc's usb sometimes wont get sufficient power like mine, it is havoc as it might jam the whole pc added: usb not that stable as well as compare with HDD firewire1 is rated at only 400mbps vs usb2.0 at 480mbps yet, firewire is much much faster than usb2.0 why? cos usb2.0 won't run at max speed, just like our stoopid streamyx is. u paid for 1mbps, what u get is just 600+kbps
