Thanks for the tips guys and i think i'll go ahead and purchase Dymatize's Chocolate Fudge Whey as so far, the price is the most affordable one for me and many reviews on the taste of the drink is the better amongst the rest.
Anyway, as i am afraid of breakouts and indigestion problems, i only take these drinks on my workout days (ie. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) whereas on my "off" days, i just get the source from natural food products that i consumed. From the calculation, it should just about 60grams.
Will that hinder the growth?
Need some heads up because this is my first time doing all these and i intend to do it right.
Whey protein shouldn't be giving you breakouts and indigestion, they're not steroids. But they can be heaty so do drink a lot of water (which you should anyway) and you should be fine. You should be aiming for 1g protein per pound of lean body mass everyday, not only on workout days. Your muscles still need the protein to grow during rest days, so do take your shakes on off days as well. 60 grams will not give you optimal muscle growth, unless you only have 60 pounds of lean mass
