Lol I just remembered what I did to a friend way back.
I totally destroyed him in a game with rocketeers the previous game. So this dude puts up GGI guys around his perimeter. Now these guys pack a punch but not so accurate on moving land targets.
So I put engineers in two or three IFVs and waited near his compound (gotta love dogs <3). Hidden behind some bushes of course. Not so obvious at a glance.
He started coming at me first. I had all my units except the IFVs in base so he wasn't making much of a dent.
BUT...
Right when I am confident his remaining forces are hopeless and he's still trying to maximize the ROI from them, I sent my IFVs in (they're quite fast really). Managed to get one deployed next to his yard and captured. Sold it immediately.
The free GIs started shooting at his buildings, so he got a message about being under attack. I was laughing too damn hard to bother moving them out of harms way.
Come to think of it, I still laughed for a couple of months after that when I see him.
Lol, you made me remember one trick I did on my friend.... He used France, I took America.
When spying his base using the GPS, I noticed he build tons of IFVs and the Grand Cannon. But noticed his Con Yard was virtually unguarded, and the War Factory just beside it. So what I did was to build 2 Chrono Legionaires and teleport them somewhere nearby his base, hidden from his view.
Then I sent a group of tanks to the base entrance, and dropped a few paratroopers near the cannons. Obviously he sent all the IFVs against the tanks and paras. Immediately I asked my Legionnaires to capture the Con Yard and War Factory.
By the time he dealt with the tanks and paras, he noticed he couldnt build anything else but troops only. He was like WTF, and I just laughed.....
