How to use Google DNS 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 on Maxis 3G internet? I've tried to set it in my Huawei's dashboard but still doesn't work.
*
Instead using the dashboard,
set it under Local area connection Properties>Networking Tab>internet protocol TCP/IPv4>and set the DNS there.Works for me. smile.gif

Currently all LTE modem use Qualcomm MDM9200 chipset

Better or not depends on design

Changing modem on the same range wont do significant difference except you need certain feature tongue.gif
*
Any thoughts on new stuff wana sell?Antennas or so? tongue.gif
Hands itchy wana try new stuff.Or might as well upgrade to a better router?

Make sure that hub is powered by a separate adapter smile.gif

Yeap, Mikrotik seems more stable(showed by a friend), im still considering the 951G brows.gif , better processor and 128MB ram.

Just in case tongue.gif

Will get a good powered hub soon or DIY one tongue.gif

Stability is great, apart from it still doesn't support new NCM protocol which render my E3276 unusable doh.gif

My Mikrotik resting in my drawer now tongue.gif

Funny thing is that rumors say, from other forums :
Mikrotik claims to not support for newer generations LTE modems, 2013 and after hmm.gif i wonder how true is that.

Eh, im derailing from topic already.Sorry folks. tongue.gif

I just got my microsim, does that mean it's LTE? hmm.gif Or does it need a specific type of sim? Can't get hooked(register) on LTE although i can see LTE network there.

Or should i get a nano-SIM instead? tongue.gif
