Kraft Foods is PE 20+
J&J is PE 20+
Unilever is PE 20+
Nestle SA is PE 18.8+
Danone is PE 20+
....

Why nestle malaysia so 'keng' one have to sell at PE 30+?  rolleyes.gif

Other companies not defensive meh, including Nestle's parents?  tongue.gif

Hint, hint... buy Nestle SA, higher dividend, lower PE, higher growth... than Nestle Malaysia (which is 70% owned by Nestle SA  rolleyes.gif )

Perhaps you can sell the wrong one and pick back up the right one.  biggrin.gif

It cannot be done, somehow I do feel that BIMB is a bit on the high side/overvalue; just feel a bit sad when if I hold it, I can have this free ride, instead, I sold it to realized the profit and buy other stocks.

Why so angry? Important thing is you bought the stock (TAKAFUL)  tongue.gif

I bought some at 4.90. I should have got more...
*
Good for you. By the time I want to buy, it was at RM6++, so I opt for a cheaper version aka BIMB, and even sold the stock as well. Now I think should be back to the drawing board, reshuffling my portfolio.

Plantations maybe cheaper entries to " properties" aka assets

To me , sometimes Plantation is better than buying a sky high price property.....

Only thing one u buy with bank loan and becoming a proud property owner, the other u have to buy with cash in the pocket and go broke...and stay low profile hmm.gif
*
Buy property = buy something with money from 30 years later.

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Aug 14 2013, 03:21 PM)
Not saying Inari cannot create a new all time high but you cannot simply buy any stock at any high.
You need to know more about the stock and do own research before you buy.
Just like they say 'buy low sell high'.
How does one know if the low is the lowest and there will not be another low?
And the answer is the same. You still need to know more about the stock and do own research before you buy.

Me? I generally don't like to buy lows. Sometimes I might but many times I will shy away.
I feel the dangers is greater.
Especially in a bull market where most stocks are trading at their highs, you get a proposition to buy one trading at its lows.
Would you buy?
I won't.
Stocks don't trade at the lows with no apparent reason.
*
100% agree with the statement

Once government bond yield spike, REIT won't be attractive already

You got it the other way round la. Offensive is the best defense.

In football, you need a good defense but then a good defense won't win you the game if you don't score.  tongue.gif

ps: Why no one warned the possibility of government bond spiking? REITS not good defender enough?  whistling.gif
*
In football, you don't really need a good defense, as long as you can outscore your opponent. You can leak as many goals but still win, if you score twice as many.
