I watched my Astro with my condo centralized dish , but it is not in hd and bad quality ... is it the problem with the centralized dish?

Hi guys...need some feedback

Currently i'm using Unifi 5mbps rm149, i'm considering getting astro superpack 3 RM155
Dilemma is this, should i go with Unifi + Astro or Maxis + Astro IPTV + Phone ?

Unifi + Astro = RM 149 + RM 155
                  = RM 304

Maxis + Astro IPTV + Phone = RM 148 + RM130 + RM20
                                          = RM298

If i go with Maxis option i would be paying slightly less in total + 10 additional select channels but then after contract finish if i decide to terminate Astro, I will not have any tv programmes to watch compared to Unifi.

Another thing is that i don't know how good is maxis once i switch over to them, how good is their customer support? So far been using Unifi for 2+ years no issue, very happy with the service.

he means two different subscription  obviously.
and if you can hack it, it might work as they both have the same backbone.

Hi, I would like to ask some opinions from you guys:

1) I stay in a condo and the condo management said our dish is old dish and cant support Astro Beyond. The building is only 4 years old.

2) I subscribed astro beyond. 3rd party installer came and said that the HD quality i.e. Signal Strength is there and Signal Quality is not-available for HD. Say he needs to go inside riser to do the settings and I will be able to enjoy HD. But installer also mentioned the management wont allow other people to go in.

3) I speak to the management again and they said no way hosey can get HD.

4) I found out later that there is a contract between Astro and Time to offer IPTV. I investigate further and supplier doing IPTV Astro-Time rejected my request due to high Non-Standard Installation Charges ie RM1400.

5) I go to the management again. They said Time has laid the fibre optic cable bla bla crap. So must go thru Time ie subcribe IPTV.

6) I rest my case.

7) Today Lee Chong Wei badminton finals. I scroll thru the channel. And TA-DAAAAAA I am able to tune into chanel Astro Arena HD 802. In full HD. so nice nya.

8) But other HD chanel not available.

9) Call astro for help. They said 1st time encounter this. And Chanel Arena HD 802 is a new chanel. They will send a technician to check. I will try to arrange the management people to be around.

10) I sense the management is playing balls.

11) Can you guys enlighten me what should i be aware of? The 1st time the astro installer already mentioned to me that the HD signal is available. Now i ada proof.

Please kindly comment and advise.
