Just thought I'd add me take on the Astro on-the-go service. I linked up my account a while ago but never really tried it out.

I'm quite impressed actually. Watched all the Football league highlight shows on demand and the quality is quite good. Live channels are good also, just a shame there are only a select few. Why don't they have all their channels online?
I hope they continue to develop this service as it has a lot of potential I think!

(My only gripe is it doesn't work overseas, else I'd use it for live BPL matches while in the UK...a lot cheaper than subscribing to sky sports)

After do some experiment..here the result i get.Please refer attachment.
I have second remote (white remote),taken from past decoder astro byond.
When install new decoder with PVR function,i got black remote.

So,refer the picture clearly IR a.k.a infrared signal at black remote not function
properly.Meanwhile IR at white remote work like charmed.But..but,one small
problem detect.Button 6 & 9 at white remote not function a.k.a broken.
So,it's difficult to me change channel.

What solution for me?.Can change remote because it's new,install below
2 month.Or i need buy new?.

DMT5 is kinda lag at boot, standby it when it boots.

I'd rather go get njoi zapper which is only 408 then upgrade to Astro for no extra fees.

Byond sets have lifetime warranty so changing the remote is free.

My friends has a problem with his PVR recording. His PVR suddenly shows recording signal when he do not record anything. Then he tried to record berita tv9 and berita alhijrah at the same time, it says it conflicts with awani 745 when he didn't record Awani 7.45 one...

Currently changing hdmi cable and so far no tv blink.Hope this problem can settled and case closed.

And remote likely need change.After do reset, problem still there.Now, need wait Tuesday to claim new remote.

Me not familiar with pvr function.Inb4 using normal astro byond.Already ask astro customer service about recording same time.She said cannot and that's why message appear at decoder.True aaa..?

Astro Byond only have one tuner so its normal for it
If Astro Byond PVR (dual tuner) can record two channels but what Qash-M said is that his friend has a PVR with dual tuners but cannot record the channel while he's not recording anything.
When will we have hexa tuners like Dish Network?

i just found out Eurosport HD isn't available anymore..why???

It was temporary opened during the US Open. But don't worry, Astro still got Eurosports HD, only in "Astro Select" IPTV one.

ohh man i like this channel in HD especially watching all the cycling scenes...

i have some free preview channel just now. wonder why some channel is not accessible.

Yeah great now enjoying all the free channels..btw HD channels are included too
