Are u using second hand rims? No? For sure not because of balancing coz you've done balancing when changing the tyres let aside bad workmanship. It is pretty sure that that is the effect of thinner tyres, from 16 to 17 will effect the comfort. Try to adjust your tyre pressure.

This is my advice to you kento never trade your life with a look, you need to fork out some money to have the look and your life (most important) but I dont mean that expensive tyres are good and cheap tyres bad.

Hmm i am also using ns700 it's not that bad though for me, my car is a mazda protege/323 familia 1.6 i drive pretty fast well faster than anyone on the road during heavy rain at least and I don't have any problems with it,maybe it's not fast enough for me to slip the tyre but hey how much do you guys want to drive under medium to heavy rain conditions though, i am going 120-140 mostly but i agree the compound is not that good as it is a cheap budget level tyre
