There's two, one is 30 min to all networks monthly, another one is 30min/day to umobile only. So if you want to have the most saving, call people from other operator first, utilizing all of your 30min to all networks, then only call those from umobile so it will use the 30min/day.

That was the case previously as well. What they wanted is for more users to change to umobile, as at that time, it will become much more cheaper.

there's no difference from before as it is the same case as well in the old plan. The new plan offers more data which is more worth it to be honest. If you need more call time, you can apply for Voice Plus(RM 8 for 80minutes to other operators)

the new plan got more data, if your data usage is within your old plan's quota 90% of the time and you do use at least 50 min offnet, then the old plan would be better. If your data usage is more but call less then the new plan is better(paying a bit more for the additional calls is still worth it in my opinion because data is more expensive than sms/calls).

nope. if you still wanted umi18, you need to continue the auto subscription. UMI18 is replaced by UMI20.
