practically u can't only port 1 supp line with maxis into any other telco

there are few possible way
a. if u wanna ONLY port the maxis supp line out
1. convert the supp line into hotlink prepaid, then u can port to umobile u28, with me got discount

b. if u wanna port BOTH maxis main /supp out
for u28, u only can get 1 main, no supp/share line available, therefore ur option would be ported ur 1 main 1supp from maxis into
1. umobile 2 main u28 (RM28*2)
2. 1 main u28 1 prepaid, or
3. p50 main /1 p50 share (RM50+10)

yup, there is no problem ,u should check ur first page that if the RM 28 is paid by the one whom collected the money ,
the advance fee = 1 month deposit

example, u subscribe today 4/7, paid RM 28 deposit + 6%, found that not suitable, ported out @ 31/ july

so ur bill would be ((31-4+1) /31 *28 )*1.06 (gst) -28 +6%(u paid) + RM 10 stamp duty = RM 7.13 balance u need to pay

the negative amount is what they paid, but is the amount correct as what u had paid during registration ?

A= the date u subscribe on June

(30-A+1) / 30 * 28 + 28 + usage = ur fee
RM 10 = other usage( first time stamp duty)

u should forllow ur AUTO renewal for data plan 4/7 for data plan

on 3/7 u may still use ur data but u are unable to CALL / SMS because of ur top up expiry, this always happen when u top up 20 and subscribe umi20 monthly
because umobile top up validity as below
top up 10-29 = 20days
top up 30 = 60 days


so i suggest u top up 30 for 1 time, subscribe umi20, then next month just top up 10 for renewal to get 60 days validity

the power is the feature from the sim pack, the UMI 30 is the DATA plan

even though u are not subscribed with any DATA PLAN
u still entitled to enjoy the power pack features

3 example,
1. only top up 10 without subscribe any data plan, u got the free 1gb data but u only can use it for 10 days ( because u top up 10 only, validity is 10 days, passive can't enjoy free data)
2. top up 30 subscribe umi30, u enjoy all the free 1gb and also data plan 1.5gb in 30 days
3. top up amount <30 and susbcribe umi30 (u got balance of credit thats why top up less), then u may enjoy umi30 1.5gb for 30 days but the free 1gb @ ur active period only

hmm, i wouldn't call that a bill shock because the RM 10 stamp duty is very common for all postpaid subscribers including digi maxis celcom, and also lots other transactions like motor insurance, of course 6% gst wouldn't be surprise.

and umobile do charge 1 month advance during registration, so that's clearly explained as well, so the first month charge is the PRO rated access fee, if anything wrong with that, u may attach it and email to customer.service@u.com.my to complain and high possibility to waive it.

what i do call bill shock like suddenly Rm 100 charge for unknown SMS (RM 4 per sms , any 1 here kena before should understand me well)
unknown data usage charge
unknown charge without explanation even calling their customer service.
just attach ur IC copy , and request them to cancel the itemized bill and provide them a valid email address for E billing

haha, that depends how we understand / dealer explain lo, but i think most of us can accept it because not too over la, at least less complain compare to celcom basic 38

u need to request 6 digits code from them
and dial *118# follow steps to register it, start from end of july, all newly registered prepaid MUST BE power prepaid

yup u can activate at any umobile center
thats strange that they refuse the provide the code, u may call 0183881318 to tell them which location u bought from and ask them assist u to register

don put auto network in this case if ur phone is too sensitive for this

yup but u still need to top up to maintain ACTIVE to enjoy the 1gb, so practically , u may enjoy the 1gb as low as Rm 5 monthly for 5 days
get a card, top up 10 , enjoy 1 gb within these 10 days, next month around the renew of 1 gb u just top up and finished it within the active period

this is too weird that internal admin did tell us to confirm with customer the prepaid credit would be burned when convert of plan, and i notice some of my customers received this prepaid credit transfer successfully some are not.....

the validity is 10 days.
