Thanks for the advice.

Hope you find what you are looking for.
I am trying Celcom tomorrow, not that I endorse.

If I had a choice, I wait for iP6 launch next 2wks
then sign on with the best package of that telco.

Definitely not with U-mobile after the suxky experience.

Hi,
I have an 018 u-mobile prepaid number that lapse some time.
Is it possible to reload and get back the use of this 018 number?
If yes, kindly guide how-to?
*
how long have you been keeping that number idle?

I travel for a bit so I don't really recall,
The SIM pack list expiry 30/6/2014

It's because some of the apps was register on this number
and Instagram just SMS to verify me on this old number.
*
then you may as well as contact umobile's support team about it, as I think that it would have been expired so it would be best to contact them on what action would be appropriate

since your need is more to data, it's better you subscribe MB instead of UMI, for example MB68 with 5GB for 30 days. call and SMS will be charged under normal prepaid tariff.

Any users from Penang? How's your internet speed and coverage?

I am from northern part Tanjong Tokong/ Tanjong Bungah. Extremely slow internet and no 3g.

Just noticed the latest "New U Prepaid Plan" (http://www.u.com.my/new_prepaidplan) has slightly more expensive call rate (10sen/30sec) compared to 9sen/30sec.

But it comes with free data (almost very small volume) per reload.

I am still on the old one and can't seem to migrate through *118*6*2*3#, it said not available.

worst customer service ever!
promised to contact me in 3 days, did not receive any calls.
promised again to contact me 7 days, failed once again.

seriously, i was very hopeful with umobile, have 3 of my friend MNP to it, but their customer service is really f**ked up. worst than maxis and celcom's.

guess they wont need my money since they have enough subscriber now. time to change i guess. mad.gif

oh, and anyone else feel they been spamming us with more and more ads/contest/service sms recently. now it become like digi everyday at least 1 spam sms. mad.gif

Hi.

Does Umobile still use Maxis for their roaming?
