Does anyone knows where to get a low priced Canon EOS 100D in KL ?
A Singapore online shop selling basic kit about RM 2000 including 8GB and generic pouch. but not in KL

KL quite cheap woh, coz tax free...

I bought 135 kit lens RM 2499

if 600D 55mm kit lens RM1699

ask few shop in low yat (in 1st or second floor !!! not g. floor) all is same price

but they will promote you additional accessories like UV-filters, I don't take that together.

Thanks for the tip...will try as you said.
Who needs filters anymore..except pro-certain-effects, most can be applied by software.

usually UV filters does provide a slight protection for the lens glass during impact. not alot, but optimum i guess.

100D with the kit lens 15-85 RM2350 was the price I last heard off
malaysia got tax free meh? i tot HK got only =)

definitely user preference, my 7d with 15-85 i also think the whole thing too heavy.
Canon should redo their EFS line make it lighter and more compact just like how the Nex and Fuji lens.....since Canon has decide to downsize their APSC DSLR. Giving EOS 100D lens with the size of those EOS M system lens would be great.

i believe 100D is for users who want a smaller body yet still able to use existing EF/EF-s lenses

as a backup body maybe?

if u wan to use lighter EF-M lenses... sud have settle for EOS M dah or Xpro-1 or Nex-7

You sure that's the price with 15-85? That's an expensive lens you know. Unless the price dropped and I'm not aware of it.

You can sell them second hand roughly RM1.4k body and RM1.4K for the lens and make profit if that price is true.

is quite a catch for the price if it is true. Becoz just tat lens alone is selling 2k++
