 My laptop gets overheats easily.

Hi JVector5,
Overheating problem normally comes on this circumstances,
1) Your fan is working abnormally (It could be a total stop or running at a much slow speed due to degradation)
2) Dust appear on fan and vent
3) Degradation of Thermal Paste (This is quite rare though)

Since u have said u already clean the dust and found only minimal dust. In addition, dust accumulate in laptop can be easily detect (I assume u already disassemble the laptop) I would suggest to monitor your fan speed, it more sounds like a fan malfunction issue.
