Got myself a second hand black CPS
Been using it for a month now.
Anyone know what is the weight for R3 rim? I heard CPS rim is quite heavy so wondering if it would be beneficial to change to R3 rim?

QUOTE(techme @ Oct 16 2013, 09:33 AM) thanks, big different in weight.but the price is.. QUOTE(raclette @ Oct 16 2013, 12:33 PM) btw. extractor cracked at the sensor area liao X_X pretty long one.. i think would also resulted in higher FCany side effect beside leaking? power loss? talking about FC, i'm getting about 500km 90% highway @ RM80 (RM2.10/liter), speed about 110-120km/h only mod done is change the extractor to 4-2-1 and iridium plugs if town usage with many stop and go, only about 300km plus a bit. i do think it's because of the heavy rim, my Wira on highway and town usage is not that far different btw, behind water for wiper, where is the tank? now no more water coming out |

QUOTE(Max @ Oct 19 2013, 06:50 PM) on hway or constant speed can get better FC. yeah, i also think becoz the heavy rim resulted in more power wastage when start rolling.stop go road confirm drinks fuel.. heavy rim i think effect FC on stop n go road.. bcoz of the weight to start rolling..? wiper water r sharing tank, front n rear. [attachmentid=3682397] now funding for lighter rim. although i do like the ori CPS rim design.. thanks, wiper tank got water. hmm.. like that i need to check the hose and motor i guess btw, yours is the new R3? |

i notice the front page shows the Supercircuit 4-2-1 header, the 1st & 2nd exhaust goes into one while the 3rd and 4th exhaust goes into one. most header that i see for Campro is 1st and 4th exhaust goes into one, while middle 2nd and 3rd exhaust goes into one. which one gives better performance?

should be 195-55-15 so that your meter reading still the same.
if 195-50-15 it would be too small |

QUOTE(cuttlefish @ Nov 14 2013, 12:19 AM) yes, your statement are true. due to the alarm is behaving that way. if not mistaken, this is due to new safety regulation that disallow alarm to auto lock for fear of locked inside in case of accident, this of course also means there's no auto unlock. |

QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Nov 17 2013, 06:39 PM) I have dyno graph, you can't adjust just based on other car dyno graph, even if it's the same model. I saw a forum, there was a guy before he tune is afr he got 121whp from his satria neo r3, air fuel ratio was 12(+\-). After adjusted, 129whp, air fuel ratio was 13(+\-) So the 12 to 13 I wonder he increase or decrease the psi/bar. 12 to 13 Rich>lean? And my graph is 13.5, wanted to set to 13 Air fuel ratio, not sure decease or increase the psi/bar. (Current bar 3.5 with vacuum plugged in), so if set to 3.2 to reduce the air fuel ratio to 13? [attachmentid=3727143] See below for air fuel mixture, blue before tuning, red after tuning, he increase or decrease the psi? Source: http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/sat...-regulator.html need to properly tuned it with dyno to get accurate result. |

QUOTE(JeffreyYap @ Nov 17 2013, 10:37 PM) Of course, my question: When the blue goes to red(the graph above), the tuner increase its psi? Or decrease? i never used fpr so dunno about that. but during dyno can't the guy adjust the fpr till reading getting 13?cannot adjust the fpr just by guesstimate from previous dyno graph. need to be properly using wideband sensor to get accurate reading. btw, yours is 13.5 afr produce knocking sound? i think should be ok already. since the optimum afr is 14.5, but might be too lean when in high rpm. the dyno graph that you post also having 13.5 afr on 6.5k rpm and above. QUOTE(Bigblock @ Nov 20 2013, 07:13 PM) I have an old satria 1.8 and the fella is too old, i never owned a neo before but i have driven the cps and non cps models a few times. Love the handling but i fell the power is not enough, but i love the handling of the car. I'm looking for a second hand CPS is it recommended to get one? Any replacement models coming up for neo next year? since its a 7 year old model. Thanks guys stock 4G93 engine are much more powerful, even CPS stock also lose to it. with the 1.8 engine the car feel light due to high torque to move the car around.if your objective is to go as fast as possible in straight line then the 1.8 is better. if it's handling in cornering, touge etc, Neo would be better. CPS should be the better choice as it got extra power after 4.4k RPM. |

QUOTE(techme @ Dec 23 2013, 03:21 PM) Thinking of changing my tyres from achilles atr sport 205/50R16 to a 195/50R16, currently thinking on either cpc2 195/50R16 for RM 1050 bal + alignment + camber(if needed). Second choice conti mc5 for rm1160 b and a included. if you changed to either of those size, don't think will scrubbing since it is smaller than your current size.another alternative change my rear tyres only from 205/50R16 to 205/45R16, any1 here using these 205/45R16 with R3 rims? Got any scrubbing or not? |

QUOTE(The Red Giant Warrior @ Dec 27 2013, 10:14 PM) Got some question to ask. That CPS thing that kicks in at 4.2K, do I need to reach 4.2k once and the CPS will activate as long as my engine is on? as long as you in 4.2k rpm till redline, the CPS will still activate.btw, not usre CPS activate in 4.2k or 4.4k rpm? |

QUOTE(emblavonpros @ Dec 30 2013, 03:32 AM) Posted this on satria's thread alas no reply, hoping someone can answer me.. as long as the oil level remains inside between the 2 then it's ok. if nearing the bottom mark then better get it top up.usually engine oil optimal amount is about the 1st mark or the 2nd mark of the dipstick? My neo's dipstick indicate large volume on the 1st mark but only small patches on the 2nd mark and upwards. Is this normal? It's running 3000km++ after the latest oil change.. possible engine oil eat-up or leakage? btw, when you check, do you check after few hours since the engine is shut down and do you wipe the dipstick 1st then only put it back and pull out to see the oil level? this 2 things is important to get accurate reading. and Capmro need 4 liters of oil. when you just changed the oil, do you check wheres the oil level at? check your exhaust for signs of oil if engine eat oil or check the engine head and bottom of the engine for signs of oil for leakage. |
