I've just booked a Neo R3 1.6 AT Executive Black for my wife. Kinda disappointed with the power window switch location. Any modification can be done?

And also the steering wheel is not as 'modern looking' as the Preve/Suprima. Can I replace it with Preve/Suprima's?

Let me ask the SA if can be done without voiding the warranty. Just wondering, the power window switch is on the driver side armrest or near the gear side? Used to drive a wira but can recall where? Old age catching up.

Its for my wife coz she's used to Myvi where the controller is on the driver door side. That's why I asked her to drive our Savvy to get things familiarized with the stalk. I'm driving my Toyota Rush most of the time, kinda like the height thou.

But if my wife gonna face difficulties is adjusting, then I guess I'll be driving it instead while she gets the Rush.

I don't think there are stocks available. Coz I asked and they told me only left with 2014 model..

I bought the 2014 Auto. So far ok lah except for the GPS which keep on stating Acquiring satellite/location or something.

you are correct abt the Garmin and Blaupunkt NY. Let me check the microsd card which he first slot it inside the SD card slot which is on the lect hand side while the manual states it should be the top right next to the CD slot.

the aircond vent hole is ugly. Can it be changed to other models such as the saga FLX type, waja, mini cooper? the Audi and Mercs ones look nice but I doubt its cheap.

send the car to SC near the dealer which I bought this car and did the 1k servicing + asked them to look at the GPS problem. They unable to do anything on the GPS and asked me to go either to Sg Besi or Mutiara Damansara.

But, I've decided to give the Proton Care a call yesterday evening to asked for the best SC which can fixed my GPS and they asked for my car number and recommend me to go to MD.

Ironically, about an hour after the call, the GPS suddenly 'activated', so to speak, while I was driving. Like its being activated remotely by Proton..

U mean that the NY800 navigation can be changed to other than Garmin?

I think someone posted in Lowyat forum abt his Jetta in Mudah. Gearbox problem it seems.

And I got a friend who bought a Polo and had the fuel gauge problem after using it for 3 months. She send it VW SC and they says nothing wrong. She took it back and it was fine, then it happend again and she send it again and same problem after that.

The gauge shows empty but she just fill up full tank a day before and that causes headache to her coz she doesn't know if the car got fuel or not. Nowadays, she pump petrol every 3 days and for long distance, she uses her husband Mazda 8 or the Tucson or her son Myvi.

2 different case. gearbox problem is the one I read here in lowyat forum.

the fuel gauge problem is a problem happend to a friend of mine... so sad.

True, I guess she doesn't have the time to go abt going to other SC. Perhaps she thinks that she pays more for the car, the Polo should be a better car than her son Myvi..
