the definition of kite's death is questionable. in one of the chapter nef already sits with kite's head on her lap and she say something about wanting to do it again. so later nef somehow 'revives' kite and use him as a training dummy. when gon discover kite. i guess he just wanted to release kite from his agony. imho kite is as good as dead. the only thing makes him move right now is nef's nen ability (some puppet controlling thing) .But who knows right. maybe togashi just want to mess around with us.

really like kite's crazy slot ability. too bad togashi ends it abruptly. that what i like about togashi. he doesnt mind killing any character we like in the begining of chimera arc, we met with pons (the bee girl) and pokkul ( the nen arrow user) and both died horribly (one from a gunshot and devoured and the other one got brain probed) so its no suprise if he want to kill more main characters in the ant arc.

nope the guy who fights the bald ninja in the final hunter exam. his name is pakkun.nef 'open' his mind (literally) then later chopped off to food. the girl just get shot by the armadillo chimera and then got eaten.
