for some reason, not very impressive.... each of the buddha palm strike, if it as powerful as Uvogin's nuclear punch then yes.

i think it is not as strong as uvogin's big bang punch, but nearly, just that the king is too op

Hence it is not very impressive, seeing that they travelled all the way to this weapons testing ground. I expected craters upon craters created by impacts with energy equivalent to 1-2ton meteors. At least need to show craters the size of 10 meters to 100meters.

probably stronger, and most importantly faster.

it wasn't depicted as stronger because as posted above, king too op.

holy f***ing shit, the anime and the manga was just SPOT on. i purposely re-read those few chapters, and f***ing hell. spot on.

I actually did not understand the manga at this spot. It was like messy messy messy. Finally, I understood how Pitou took Gon's arm. And Gon was in despair and then turn Pitou from cocky to fearful during his powerup.

rewatched 131.

It is really good seeing that last punch. I say a much shorter fight than Netero V Meruem. But the punch in this one is pulverizing nuclear bomb type. Very impressive.


Too bad.... not going to see it again since Gon will lose his nen powers

The ep 131 really break my expectation. I am thinking of an epic battle , turn out just one sided battle.

in the manga, it really was one sided

in nen battles, as the characters in book mentioned, higher level of nen does not mean 100% victory

its all about how the opponents outsmarted, outwitted, outskilled etc etc each other

Gon's nen power was nowhere superior than Meruem (Pitou mentioned it might challenge only), which caused Pitou to freak out and lose control due to her inner instinct to defend the King

from that onwards, Gon defeated her through brute strength from the jankenpon punch (which ofc is lethal as heck)

Hunter manga chapter 345 is out.
