Hi all the sifus in here, Im recently upgrading my ICE, sq.
Thinking to change my amp since got extra budget, but mostly getting second hand amp.
My budget is around 1200 and can be slightly over that.
I listen to jam hsiao, jay chao, JJ etc songs.
After doing some research, I found 3 used amp for sale which I think will be suitable for me.

1) Focal FP4.75 (Below RM1500 from zerotihundred forum)
2) Genesis profile 4 ultra ( Below RM1500 from our automotive garage)
3) PHD art 4060 (slightly over RM1000 offer by a forumer in zerotohundred)
4) offer me or give me suggestion

I was looking at genesis and focal since they are well known SQ brand. But a bro offer me PHD art and he say the amp is comparable to focal and is cheaper. Did some research on PHD but cant find much review. Im going to do 2way active for front and a woofer using 9887 alpine or clarion 702A.

Do any sifu here listen to any of these amp and have any comment on these amp? Or any other brand sifu here recommend? Looking for used amp since I got limited budget

For your knowledge, even though Genesis & Focal are known as SQ amp doesn't mean it will suite every component set or speaker... Amp & Comp/Speaker need to match each others in term of criteria of Amp & Comp.

how does we know whether the amp and comp match each other in terms of criteria or spec.
or it is need to go through the painful experience to match one by one?

that tend to be the case since everyone's preferences are different.

hence joining TT's would be one of the best way to reduce that pain even if it's just a little bit

Thinking to get Focal FP2.150 now for my Focal 30A1 subwoofer. Focal FP2.150 is rated 400 watt RMS and is more than enough for the woofer(250RMS). If I get FP4.75, which produce 200RMS for bridged chanel, will it be enough for 250RMS? Might be not enough but will it sound bad? If FP4.75 is enough for 30A1 woofer, then in the future I can use the extra 2ch for 3way setup XD or any suggestion from sifus? thx
