Why the one punch man manga release is so slow compared to the other manga like over piece. Anyone knows?

coz this manga is drawn as hobby, hence no fix release day

this is the best anti-climax superhero manga i ever read/watch.

This is my fav currently... after that cooking anime ended.. S1 atleast,..

Yeah, agreement with the animation studio (Madhouse) to only develop 12 episodes. No idea if there's gonna be a second season as there's not enough story for a second season in the manga. If there's gonna be one months to years down the line, think it's gonna be done by a different studio, it's not gonna be the same anime

Oh well, it's gonna end with boros arc, good way to end it

not enough 2nd season for manga?
i thought the manga (new) is like 80+ chapter already. & old is 100+ chapter?

Well, making an anime takes months of planning and execution. Need to assemble a team, draft VAs, production, postproduction. Each episode isn't produced on week to week basis, rather decided on a set number of episodes and produce them all at one go over several months production cycle where they planned what each episode was gonna feature and how it's gonna end. Planning was probably done after the mangaka completed redrawing the boros arc

I don't think they had the intention of serializing it anyways due to budget constraints, and decided 12 episodes is a good length for the anime

12-13 episode is a trend nowadays. Unlike the old days >30 episodes were pretty normal.
