Can see the passion there..
Why not try taking them with green screen for your masking?

nice photos there, I like the Ironman / War Machine ones best.

Looks like your style is to PP it into a background that's taken from elsewhere.

Thanks and yes, the background is from taken from elsewhere.

I hope it's not against the rule of the forum.

if it does, I will close the thread.

And next time I will try to give a link back or credit to the background I used.

Thanks again and I apologize if i broke any forum rules.

Nope, not against any rule at all.

I use natural background for my figurines.

Thanks!

I've only used natural background for the military figure.

Looks like you have many cabinets, do they go back in box after a photoshoot?

Your lighting is good but it often doesn't quite match the surrounding.

Just take note of the background you want to use, then position the light(s) accordingly. use a reflector or additional light if need to.

To create different color cast, you can use transparent plastic or some thin cloth.

Most of them go back in box after photoshoot cause I haven't custom made the display case.

A lot of dust will accumulate around the figure without proper display case.

But in future, will most probably display all in a cabinet (hopefully).

Yeah some lighting doesn't quite match the surrounding.

Usually, I took photo of the figure first then only search for the background.

Yes, I'm planning to add more lighting for the lightbox.

anyway, thanks for the tips! appreciate it!

Haha then we're on the same boat for figure collections. My collections are all BIB / MISB because no proper cabinet.

Want to get or make a good one, with the correct size, lighting and placement. smile.gif Need it to be minimized of dust collection and heat too.
