I think MU should stop pursuing Fabregas as it looks like a dead end. Even if Barca is willing to sell, i don't think Fabregas' heart is in MU considering the history he has with MU when he was with Arsenal.
The same goes for Thiago. I don't think we "lost' him as he was never keen to join MU at the very beginning and all along he was waiting for Pep Guardiola to make a bid for him.
No point getting players if their heart is not set on joing the club.

Normally I'm very skeptical about this kinda news, but in this case it wouldn't be a huge surprise since

1) Ronaldo has been taking his time on signing an improved contract with RM
2) If you notice.. Nani has a year left on his contract and there is no sign of renewing it, instead we are seeing a lot of rumors about him leaving. Valencia has a contract until 2015.

Contractually, it wouldn't be surprising if Ronaldo joined us. And it would explain how RM are willing to pay that insane fee for Bale (on top of the 70million or so they have already spent before).

The negativity here is pathetic. I understand the pre season isn't impressive but let the man do their job. I don't think he ask the squad to lose on purpose. It is a learning curve.
