QUOTE(braindeath @ Aug 12 2013, 12:51 PM) Any player need to gain more playing time in order for them hv consistency and confidence ando still has fitness problems till now... cleverly still hasn't fulfilled his "potential".. should give the attacking midfield role to kagawa..Let ando n cleverley play together upfront Carrick holding RVP - Rooney Nani - Kagawa - Zaha Carrick Evra - Vidic - Ferdinand - Rafael DDG Get confirmation from rooney and a replacement for Nani and it will be a good team.. |

QUOTE(99killer @ Aug 12 2013, 04:09 PM) It should’ve been mourinho, but saf chose moyes instead. at least let moyes manage a damned league game before slapping him in his face. The longest mourinho lasted at a club is 4 seasons, and thats with chelsea. All short term glory hunters will always opt for Mourinho, but they will always drama. In Mou, he must always be bigger than the club.I like mourinho, he is better and has more experience in ucl, i hope moyes sacked and mourinho laugh at him. The game lst nght was boring n no quality. I bet mourinho capable doing better, 4-0 or 6-0. Moyes is no good, sack him now! Manager with better technical skills and experience would be Jürgen Klopp and Josef Heynckes, quite common, especially their command of the technical aspects of the game. German and Spanish managers are both equally good. There must be a reason why Moysie was chosen. He will never change what is Manchester United, Manchester United will change him, as it did to Fergie. |

im not sure how any new player will slot into the first team right now.
under moyes, a traditional 2 striker 4-4-2 is being used. all we can sign under this formation is replacement players for aging and some backup players. Wingers we already have nani, valencia, young, zaha, giggs, januzaj. Central, we have carrick, kagawa, cleverly, anderson, powell strikers, welbs, rooney, hernandez, henriquez, rvp, macheda defenders rb, rafael, varela lb, evra, fabio, buttocks cb, evans, vidic, ferdinand, smalls, jones with jones to go rb, cb, cm and smalls to go rb, cb, rw i dont see where are we going to strengthen except for GK because of experience and once kagawa starts to play a little more like he did in dortmund, then i would say it would be a complete team. |

QUOTE(Seoliem @ Aug 16 2013, 03:29 PM) we don't have Defensive Midfielder that can win the ball back...no Jones plz...stick him to CB with kagawa the position is 4-4-2 diamond with kagawa in a CAM role and carrick in CM... agreed with your assessments on the players, but they will be played by moysie regardless and since he's new, he will give everyone a chance. i did not list average players like keane, bebe, wootton, amos, johnstone and some other players on tour, they dont even make the cut for our starting 11 as of now.Anderson meh...Powell too young and will be loaned soon. Cleverley still look average to me and Kagawa can't play central midfielder...it will be suicidal The only quality and reliable central midfielder we have is Carrick and he is 32 years old already Man Utd need experience/world class central midfielder badly if we ever wish to win CL next season. So far IMO, we can only wish for Domestic title. If moysie has the balls, kick anderson out, sideline cleverly, and get 1 top class midfielder (fabregas, eriksen, modric, SwineTiger, ozil) and a sub par one like fellaini as a backup + Willy Caballero or Sirigu. For 3 players, investments should be around 80mil. If anderson goes, around 6-8mil, rooney 35-40mil because chelski is rich. |

QUOTE(SGSuser @ Aug 17 2013, 01:01 AM) it's not my problem, its just that we have younger players on the fringes whom are fit and can take up a slot. Fletch is not, he has been a good servant to united. Should wait until the next player registration period and see if he is fit. If he is, only then you issue him a number. |

Fergie has cut alot of players for small mistakes and even sold some away due to his mistakes. He should rejoin the reserves till January to prove that he is ready.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Aug 20 2013, 12:06 AM) To be honest, Afroman has set his sights on United already, he's definitely not playing at his full potential. Something like someone is not giving their whole heart. Baines had an average game as you've said, not sure if both of them feels the same but Fellaini wants to play for Moyes. maybe. won't know what's in their minds anyway. but does moyes really want a player like fellaini in this united system. From the players that we have bid on, all are totally opposites from fellaini. It's like there are no other choices but i still want to spend some money. By offering 28m for 2 players, does he really have the heart to buy them? Now everton will start to play hardball, i'm estimating 15-16m on baines and 20-25m at least for fellaini cause it's too late in the window for everton to replace their 2 best players. |

The problem is asking Everton to release 2 of their best players so close to dateline. It's like someone buying van persie and Carrick from us at this time. How the heck are we going to get replacements.
