Anyone subscribed to the phone insurance at digi stores? Supposedly protects from theft and phone damage. Any experience with it?

I subscribed to it but haven't claimed anything so far.

logically stock will perform better compared to skinned android, but on HTC one, compared side by side on my galaxy nexus(4.3 rite now), its performs better, thanks to snapdragon proc, and extra ram..my conclusion is, i found no benefit going faster than this(for me la)..idk, i just own this phone for 3 days..still amazed at the speed.. tongue.gif

so, yes, its performs quite well on stock sense 5..no lag here and there..

I didn't find any reason to root the phone for this model as it's already very smooth with sense 5. So far after using over a month still happy with it, only thing is the new Sony Xperia ultra poison is getting stronger day by day :-X

Mind to tell me the reason why ZU better/worst than One? I'm dilemma which phone to get.
*
If u like big screens and like me I use tablets for presentation then the zu can be a tablet replacement, the size is big enough and the screen is gorgeous.

However its strong point is also its weak point Ie. Large screen and waterproof makes it difficult to pocket and causes the sound quality to degrade to a point you will find it difficult to hear in noisy conditions.

Camera and sound quality the HTC one is miles ahead. If u use a phone as a phone rather than to surf then my bet goes to one. If u use a lot of internet surfing and size is important then zu is hard to beat.

I think for Maxis you don't have to change SIM card. Can use LTE straight away. If suddenly cannot use LTE then only change SIM card. For Celcom definitely have to change SIM card.

How about digi? Any news on their lte?

After using the HTC one for over a month, still feel it's the sexiest phone todate :-) closest competitor ie the Samsung s4 is far behind except for it's bigger screen. Other than that, the plastic phone isn't worth it. If I were to compare with cars as illustration, the s4 is like a Hyundai Sonata while the One is more in the class of a Bmw 5/7 series. In a way I'm glad HTC is still not as popular as Samsung due to its limited marketing budget, it makes the One more unique compared to iPhone or samsung.

Sony's design language is very close, except that it has the tendency to come out with large bezels on top and bottom. Comparing Sony Xperia z and zl, both with same hardware, if they can make a smaller z in zl, why can't they do the same fo. Z ultra? It will definately make it more user friendly with 1 inch less bezel ;-)

Has anyone taken photos in dark places before? What's the best setting?

I tried taking closeup shots at a darkly lit restaurant and it only comes clear with flash. If the image is a bit further away ie. 5-6 feet then it becomes blurry.

I think if HTC can come out with a 13mb ultrapixel it will almost be perfect. Processor speed not so important as the current one already very smooth.

Yes the performance is very fluid and buttery smooth even with stock ui. Even when I changed to Sony XZU I don't get the same smoothness. It will be a serious contender to be the phone of the year for 2013.
